Great! And finally the fabolous female alto Delphine Galou appears in her first CD. Ever since I discovered Galou as Zenobia in Handel's Radamisto, this day has been eagerly avaited. Since then I've followed this potential superstar in spellbinding performances of works by Händel, Bach & Vivaldi, many of which are on Youtube. But in her recent Jan Dismas Zelenka -concert (see "Laetatus sum" ZWV 90, "Barbara, dira, effera" ZWV 164) she even surpasses herself: Congratulations, Naive & Galou!
@STIANVF Totally agree with you, and I am a fun too. Unfortunately I don't live in Europe, so I can't follow her in performances. So it's a real surprise to have a CD with Galou in the cast singing Vivaldi.
@tigorsf Teuzzone appears to become one of Naive's best Vivaldi operas if this clip is representative. Regarding Delphine Galou, the Radamisto-video "Già che morir non posso" is among the most powerful artistic experiences I've ever had, thanks to this sublime artist! (Pity that the DVD was cancelled). Galou's recent Jan Dismas Zelenka-performances aren't far behind, though. Like Vivaldi/ Bach/ Handel, JDZ's compositions have expressive possibilities that suit her immense talent.
