Nice review, I just bought a 2006 Spec v with the brembo package, gray color. The torque is high on this particular car. However the tires are sure nosy. All around great car, I love it. Regards.

But there is one thing id have to disagree with u on…The 2006+ Si 197hp is faster than the Spec V.

No doubt, you would “Demolish” a 2002 - 2005 Si 160hp. They are much slower.

175hp is close to 180hp im sure it was a rounded off figure..lol! i have a silver spec V and i toast ford mustangs and camaros along with all those other little dummies in their saturns civics integras and accords over here..dont get me wrong;my soul is HONDA but i drive the nissan and toyota all day..and recently i raced against an audi 2.8 t;i guess thats what it was but anyway him and i took the curved route over here in florida and man did i whip it.. :)

2.5 litre 4cyl and you wouln'd know it from the pickup? I understand its not turbo'd, but Evo's and WRX's are 2.0 litre 4's and they have mad pickup. also don't for get the old 98 Integras. with 197 N/A hp at the crank. Those have surprising pickup

The real story begind the car is it was really an experiment to see how many luxury/accesory option's like Active Aero, and a few degree's or rear steering that they could at to a car.

Slotted and drilled rotors are t he worst idea ever. They can warp and crack extremely easy. Because of the fact that they heat up really fast because they don't have as much surface area as either slotted OR drilled or just plain rotors. And they do the job but they cool down so fast that the temperature shock can cause them to crack. They work but not ideal for a car you drive everyday.

My own personal opinion: the '06 Spec V is the best Spec V they made, styling wise that is. Sure the newer ones have a bigger engine, but it looks like crap!!! Not a great look for the Spec V. The Sentra Spec V is definitely a great car.

lol.. I have a Spec V. But I would have to disagree with that statement about the Altima SE-R being pointless. It may only have 10 more ponies under the hood, but it DOES have the VQ35 in it, as well as a multi-link independent rear suspension unlike the fucking solid rear beam axle I found on my Spec V. Other than that, I love my car. But for a sports car, I would love to have a 350Z.

02 to 04 has 175 and 05 to 06 has 170, 07 has 200. anyway, my review on 02 spec v. it has problems with handling. i thought it handles damn good until i tried downhill curves, shit. no good. i lost control few times until i finally totalled it. so dont buy spec v if you want to go fast down mountain. to that dude who reviewed it, try downhill curve and you will see what i'm talking about. maybe carbon fiber trunk will help? bec my assume it's from heavy trunk that causes downhill curve problem
