I use regular glass jars and save money by not buying your products when really it's not too complicated. It isn't rocket science it's tea! Being clean is very important and number one yes, use quality tea, general rule 1 cup sugar to 1 quart water to feed the kombucha basically, it shouldn't be sweet when it's finished. Don't stress it guys just educate yourselves about what it is and the learning experience is part of the fun! Don't waste money that's why u brew it yourself anyway!
Great description of your new DVD, Dave. I love this REAL look at the REAL item! Having brewed since the 80s, you are actually beginning to convince me to give up the gallon jars in the cooler with the heating pad. I think all I need is to see a clear picture of what it all looks like with the heating element in place--where can I see it? I absolutely love your positive, happiness. All the best to you, Jane
Awesome vid. no one else has so much encouraging information for us kombucha newbies except for getkombucha. I will pick up the DVD for sure. Thanks guys!
speaking of up.. I was up till 5:23am uploading this (love my laptop and working in fun locations while I travel, but geesh, it is NOT good for editing kombucha dvd walk thru vids!)
-- Went to bed while it was uploading... what a great thing to wake up to, knowing that your vid successfully uploaded and someone has already sent a comment. Thanks Fetymann!
