Zelgadis spent all of Slayers, Next, Try, Revolution, and half of Evolution-R with the hope that he can finally have his body back. This scene is defiantly one of my favorites.
Scary thing is, it looks like Zelgadis might be heading down the same path as Rezo.
Knowing now that even the legendary Claire Bible could not reverse a chimera transformation would probably only make him more determined than ever to find his cure.
So determined, possibly, that like Rezo he'd be willing to do anything and everything to get it.
There is, however, one stark difference between the Red Priest and his grandson - Rezo never had a companion who actually prefers him the way he is.
@CMY187 you forgot that rezo really had someone that cared for him... Ellis... she was killed by copy Rezo but she went that far as to make a copy rezo because she missed him, and she liked him the way he was, blind and kind
Like Rezo said, not even the Claire Bible had a cure for his curse. There's no way Xelloss could reverse it (not that he would anyway; he's evil, after all).
Well you can't realy labe someone like Xellos just good or just evil he's kind of like a two for one pacage. Xellos has done grate evil but he has done grate good also. Xellos did literuly risk both his lims to proteck everyone when they were fighting the dark lord. just saying.
Oh, it's very easy to label him as evil. Xellos sees "the big picture" when it comes to his plans or the Mazoku's ultimate objective. He only keeps them alive because it furthers his overall mission. You can't just look at his individual acts of "heroism" and say that he's not that bad. That's like saying Lex Luthor isn't evil just because he helped the JL a handful of times(even though it wasn't out of morality or righteousness that he did it).
Also, recall that in TRY, he openly admitted that he'd happily kill them all if ordered to do so. And Xellos, while he's deceptive and manipulative, NEVER lies. Tells half-truths or leaves out crucial details, sure, but never lies. The only other reason he doesn't kill them is because they serve as entertainment for him.
Basically, if they weren't of any interest or use for Xellos, they would've been disposed of
there are some good points there but xellos dose NEVER lie and he did say at the end of this season that it would somewhat troble him if something did happen to lina and the otheres and alo in try he wound up helping them.
Zel could very well end up in a situation like Rezo's... I mean like Rezo going awal over his eyes, Zel would pull a Rezo and become evil-not-not-really over his body...
i have a fealing that rezo when he asked ozel to protect the jar thot that ruby eye was gone forever but he figerd out that the seal was put on his soul, so now he is trying to stop him from comeing back by having his soul killed
i mean everything he did was in his eyes*sry pun* was for the greater good
