i remember playing these games, oh man i loved em. i started out with sands of time, but then i branched out into the series a bit more, in both newer and older directions.

so you said you have to beat the game in an hour. what happens if you fail? is it game over and you start from the beginning again? is it even possible to beat it in 1 hr on first play through? is it a really hard game?

So looks like you like it more brutal, than logical :) For Brutal I have GoWtrilogy and Shank. I found Braid really nice - very good presentation, soundtrack and logic puzzles! imho

Nah bud, I love logic puzzles, but I hate time travel games because they're too easy.

I've never liked a game with time travel and I don't think I ever will.

So I love games like Limbo and Portal, but I hate Braid and Echoshift.

dammit - the graphic is so bad :( i was so happy to find this game not only at US store, and finally bought it for 10$. It's crap! Classic PoP was so cool! This version should be so nice by graphic like Alladin on Sega 16bit!

My only gripe is that you don't share your own opinion enough. The whole point is for us to see what you like/dislike. You present information very well and efficiently. Maybe focus on your opinion a bit more in the future?

That's never been the point of my vids though. I hate putting my opinion in because I hate reviews that are just opinionated crap.

Sites constantly ram crap down your throat that has nothing to do with the game and then just say 8-10.

How the hell are people supposed to gauge if they're gonna like a game when they get no info and just the guy saying that he liked or disliked it?

And that's why I do this. I mention the facts, the stuff no one else does. And IMO opinion and facts don't mix.

But the whole idea is whether or not you had fun with it. I'm not going to base my purchase off your opinion alone obviously, but it's good to get a sense of knowing the reviewer's tastes if they're like your own. I don't care about numerical scores (they're terrible) but I like to hear thoughts

But yeah with the VC and PSN there's a lot of brilliant games that no one knows about.

VC games get no advertising from Ninty and many missed out on them because back then who the hell could afford them? (And if Infinity Ward get there way then this gen is going to be as bad. IW are trying to get everyone to charge £70 PER GAME!).

So in the end, I got sick of trying to find reviews/info on these games, so I starting making it :)

No 'cause it's not, it's got a few new add ons here or there :)

It's the same game but with new additions. Like a new engine for one.

So it is but isn't a remake.

Because this one is just so much faster and more responsive and it's got challenges that the NES one never had.

So I have no problems with people calling it a remake, but I think it's so much more than that :)

Lately, a "remake" doesn't just mean to make it exactly like the old one. And when ppl remake a game, they also add lots of things, including a new engine. For example, Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen were remakes, but they also had the new battle engine, improved graphics from Ruby and Sapphire, 3rd gen compatibility and a new quest. But, it is still a remake.

In other words, this IS a remake, and as always, it has new things.

See I'm a very literal person so I class a remake as a remake, nothing new other than a graphics and sound update.

Content has to be the same for me to call it a straight remake.

Unless it's a movie, and then 1 character name tends to be enough for some people to call them remakes XD

You unlock the original I believe.

But as I hated Sands and every POP game since, I'd rather just buy the original.

Sands was just to boring for me, because it was just sooooooooo easy.

Time games usually are.
