so. fucking. close. after the paris craft it was still bumpy so i added a flour+water mixture all around the helmet. it wasnt fully dry but i spray painted it anyway. then it ALL started chipping off. so i destroyed it, saved the helmet, and used it in my mau5 head :D

@bluecbass77 you can get it at craft stores, but it isn't the best material for a daft helmet, I went with fibreglass resin and bondo (fill) then once those are done you prime then paint (chrome paint or otherwise)

it's a good idea, and for the little effort you put in (as it seems to go quick making such a helmet), but what somehow sucks is that you can still see the edges of the different layers. you should try to sand it or apply it more properly.

and, what is even more important: why the hell did you take STARDUST as music for a DAFT PUNK helmet?

@fauxgt Well i put a lot of effort in it. I made it over a year ago when i really didn't have experience in making 3D objects. Sorry it wasnt up to your standards, but i like it just the way it is. AND stardust has thomas bangalter in it, this is his helmet. Maybe if u were a real fan you'd have known that and figured it out for yourself ;)

@axelXriku13 first, i didn't want to sound harsh. the "it somehow sucks" part referred to Amekuro015's comment. it still looks cool, although - as i said - with sanding it would have been even better, i guess. secondly, i didn't know that it took that long to do this helmet, but the little effort i mentioned was more referring to the materials you used (as most diy-helmets are made with resin or something like that). thirdly, i know that thomas is part of stardust, but it's still a DP-helmet
