  • Gods a much better explanation than in the beginning nothing. If evolution took place what made this living thing decide to grow eyes? How did it know there was anything to see? Same with ears nose and mouth. And which evolved first the heart, blood or vains? Evolution never happened you's just like that idea because you hate God and ray is pricking your conshince with the ten commandments. Repent and trust in Christ!!!

  • If you can't beat them, suck their money!

  • "Where did memory/morals/thought/arms/eyes/light came from?" you can't explain that therefor God exists?

it doesn't matter what the question is, ask them something they can't answer to make them feel little nd stupid, make them focus on "evil" or sin they have committed to make them feel shame then tell them they can be saved.

its not a new trick and anyoen who thinks highly of ray comfort has to ask whether its okay to lie for jesus (Domesticated banana vs Retard)

  • Of course he doesn't appeal to a person's intellect... What a freakin moron. And people who follow this idiot are sheep.

  • I love how at 0:40 when they say he is "..gathering a HUGE following in the U.S." it shows like 10 people scattered on a lawn lol

  • Ah the banana man and crocoduck arguments.

Ray Comfort is filling his pockets with the money of gullibility of people. A dangerous man.

  • Ray Comfort's god seems to have a serious case of agoraphobia. Why would a perfect, omnipotent god be so painfully SHY?

Why would god reward conviction without substantiation (faith), and send everyone else to eternal punishment, particularly those that ponder their rational doubts?

A benevolent god wouldn't do that, and that's all the logic anyone should need to see that religion's terminal weakness --it's undetectable god-- can't be ignored by anyone with integrity.

  • "Huge following in the US" at 0:40 I almost fell out of my chair laughing. Wow there must be as many as 8 people crowding around. Comfort has a good gig though. He get to hang out at Huntington Beach California, peddle some creationist junk to 10 or so folks and then catch some rays.

  • This fool thinks that God made the banana to fit a man's hand. He doesn't seem to realise that man has crosbred the banana to become the shape it is. Ray Comfort knows either nothing about science or preahces despite what he knows. He and Cameron spread ignorance.

  • Ignorance? This coming from a person who probably doesn't know what the word science means. It seems that following the evidence where it leads is a lost practice amongst those who cling to science. What a shame. Please repent and trust the Savior today!!

  • I know what science is. It is ironic that you seem to support a guy who thinks a banana is proof of God (the bananas we eat are modified by man), and yet you accuse scientists of not following the evidence. I wouldn't repent, even if your zombie master were to ask me himself right now, so thanks for adding the little implied threat of "repent or else", but I will pass.

  • And what are you spreading? Not very funny for a comedian!!! Har..har!

  • Interesting skin disorders, mostly. Wow, saying I am not funny when my name on here is Comedian? Jesus H Christ, you must've laboured long and hard to get that kind of originality.

  • Now that was funny!!!

  • Awesome, Ray. Thank you so much for your ministry

  • Atheists, you will never counter the gospel message.

  • We'll keep trying.

  • @melaniestevens and u will never counter logic

  • I still dont understand why evolution and the idea of a God is mutually exclusive, can someone please explain this to me? (A christian preferably, since its you guys that seems to insist its either evolution or god?)

  • They aren't mutually exclusive, but the Theory of Evolution does provide an alternate explanation of the world without God. Now why would a Christian support Darwin's worldview? a view that is mostly Atheistic? You can believe in evolution and still be as good of a Christian as one who doesn't believe in evolution but you must be careful. Believing in evolution can lead to doubt in Christianity. I'm saying you can't let the theory detract from the bible. I'm skeptical of the theory as a whole.

  • That's just wrong. Evolution is just a mechanism for explaining the diversity of life. It makes no claims about the origins. Why is evolution an "atheistic" world view. It has no religious value whatsoever.

  • As i stated, it provides an alternative explanation for the origins of live. It allows you to not need God, the atheist version of the theory at least. any real Christian doesn't want this. The theory also detracts from scriptural value. If god utilized evolution, wouldn't that make him somewhat of an absentee landlord who allows millions of years of unnecessary suffering? You can go believe in whatever definition of god you want, but i believe in Jehovah.

  • NO it doesnt. That just what I said. Evolution DOES NOT give ANY explanation as to the origins of life. Non whatsoever. It just explains the diversity of life on earth. But you can't reject something that has scientific evidence behind it because scripture doesnt agree with it. That's silly. Scripture also disagrees with a Heliocentric solar system.

  • Well the bible when interpreted correctly doesn't conflict with the Heliocentric solar system in my opinion but forget that. God would not need to use evolution to build his creation, believe what you want. In the first place i really don't see any convincing proof that Macro-Evolution has occurred, and gives nothing good to humanity if the theory is around. Atheists DO use it as an excuse for unbelief, and it is responsible for a worldview that is contrary to the bible. Why would i partake.

  • It doesnt matter what Atheists use it as. The merits of a theory are not judged by its use. neither is its validty. The theory of fusion is still valid even if people use it to make H-Bombs. God would also not need to use quantum mechanics, or general relativity or any of that. But those theories are still valid. The point is evolution doesnt even begin to explain the origins of life, yet you claim that it does. It shows a lack of understanding of the theory, surely?

  • No, I think I understand the theory enough, but I'm not as knowledgeable as many others on Youtube. Evolution is merely an alternate explanation, a naturalistic view of the universe and life. Some people take it that far, but some believe in it on a much lesser scale. I believe this naturalistic worldview that is being taught in schools, is responsible for moral decline and it doesn't surprise me. You say that evolution doesn't try to explain the origins of life, but people do that all the time.

  • You keep constantly missing the point. The scientific validity of the theory is not diminshed because of the way the theory is used. That's all there is to it. Its irrelavant. You cannot use that as a basis to judge the validity of a theory. You have confused the issue.

  • I'm just saying its a potentially dangerous theory and if it is true it really doesn't matter as it is no benefit. Your right, you can't use that as the basis to judge the theory. I can use the fact that i don't think it has enough evidence, COMBINED with the aforementioned reasons together for my disdain of the theory. I'm not only judging by the moral repercussions that i was talking about.

  • Yes, but I was talking about the theory of evolution of species. Any theory is "potentially dangerous". What about atomic theory? And how can you say it doesnt matter if its true, it is a profound and beautiful theory. Not to mention most modern day genetics, medicine etc wouldnt be possible without evolution. As for the lack of evidence. That's just not true. I dont understand why creationists ignore evidence summarily without ever looking at it properly.

  • As for proof, there is no proof, only evidence, no scientific theory can be proven, because it is impossible to test all cases. At least there is no proof in the mathematical sense of the word. As for the evidence, there is plenty of it.

  • Now I will admit, I believe evolution would be impossible if there wasn't a god but when i think about it with god in the picture it seems much much more likely with him than without. I mean the naturalistic Big Bang Theory is the stupidest thing ive EVER heard.

  • What does the big bang have to do with evolution?

  • Cosmic evolution. People often use the big bang as a natural explanation for the universe.

  • Hang on, are you saying that the process since the big bang or whatever (not the big bang itself) didn't happen?

  • Well said :)

  • "daily doe of Bible-bashing"? one can definitely tell New Zealand is Way Secular...no offense to NZers.

  • it's suppose to say 'dose' not 'doe.' D'OH!

  • Aaaand why would that be offensive to us?

  • This is a wonderful segment. I am glad they did a good job reporting on this ministry.

NeedGod . com is one of their sites. Check it out. :)

  • Faith is a wonderful, wonderful thing. If it's put in the truth. But everyone has faith in something, so be careful you're not fooling yourself.

  • Faith is a terrible, terrible thing.

  • Yeah I know what you mean, so many evolutionists have too much faith in fairy tales.

  • @samuraizkd ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm, you believe in a magical sky daddy.

  • @samuraizkd A theist telling "evolutionists"( LOL) That they believe in fairy tales? BEST. CONTRADICTION. EVER.

  • "I'm not a greasy televangelist."

    No, you're a clean-cut televangelist.

  • TV evangelists wouldn't dare go out on the streets to open air. Open Air preaching is nothing new, Jesus did it, the disciples did it, John Wesley, Charles Spurgeon, Billy Graham. TV evangelists take your money, Ray Comfort gives it out.

  • And most of all televangelists DO NOT RIDE BICYCLES to work!!! they ride their fancy limos and private jets, money they steal from the elderly and people who want their ears tickled.

  • He is on TV, he is an evangelist, he is a televangelist. He gives out like 3 bucks, his videos and books make up for it, trust me.

  • Also televangelists could care less about people going to hell, they would rather line their pin-striped expensive suites with poor peoples money than to preach the truth to the nations as Christ commanded Christians to do. The most common televangelists aren't Christian at all, they preach and teach exactly opposite of what Jesus commanded.

  • "No, he's not some crazy heckler."

    Yeah he is.

  • you don't know what a heckler is obviously.

  • Someone who heckles people, like when Ray Comfort tries to break down people by making them feel guilty about everything they do and then uses that vulnerable condition to attempt to convert them.

  • Holly crap, he's a New Zealander? On behalf of my country I would like to apologize to the world for him.

  • Why? We like him, sorry that you are ashamed of someone from your country. He is doing good over here, and sounds like he needs to come back to New Zealand if you believe your country doesn't need a guy with a message about Christ..

  • A guy with a message about Christ? Hell, why not, I got nothing really against that.

A guy who uses the existence of bananas to disprove evolution? Now thats another story.

And for the record, I was mostly apologizing to all the people who can see through his ridiculous arguments. If you don't fall into that category, I retract my apology.

  • The only problem is that he's an idiot......

  • No, he's humble.

  • He heckles people, humble or not.

  • I dislike how Comfort asks people questions on the street such as "Where does the conscience come from?" and when they can't answer it, it's supposed to completely invalidate the atheistic viewpoint on regards to the question. Just because some random person on the side of the road can't answer your questions, doesn't mean there isn't an answer that doesn't involve God.

  • can you answer it?

you obviously know enough about ray comfort to have some sort of knowledge.....

i don't think there is an answer an atheist can give that is satisfactory

  • The conscience is closely tied with morals and a sense of right and wrong, simply speaking it is a behavioral tool with which we are able to determine good and bad behavior. Morals can be developed from an evolutionary point of view due to the fact that we are social animals...

  • ... Because we live in groups, it benefits us to help each other in an effort to make the group more successful. Basically "I'll scratch your back, you scratch mine." Within groups of social animals, behavior that benefits others is a desirable thing, as this in turn benefits the individual. From this we can see how taking something from another member of the group or harming another member would be a bad thing. The conscience is a function of the brain which allows us to recognize these things.

  • our conscience is our determining knowledge of what is right and wrong. the evolutionary social relative morality which you describe does not make sense because it could be used to justify almost anything. what if we, as a society decided to kill off all the very sick and contagious people among us because we deemed it a "behavior that benefits others". Would that make it right. of course not.

  • If that's the way society thought, then from that point of view, it would be right. Look at slavery, we now know that it is wrong, but for hundreds, if not thousands, of years, it was seen as socially acceptable.

  • ha that is my point exactly. slavery was wrong then as it is now. just because it was socially acceptable then, didnt make it right. correct? do you honestly think that whatever society thinks as a whole determines morality, i hope not.

  • All I have to say to that is hindsight is 20/20. We know slavery is wrong, now, yet if we had have been born a hundred years ago, we may have thought it was right because that was the prevalent way of thinking at the time.

  • On the other hand something like rape would always be wrong, not based on social welfare, but on absolute morality established by God.

  • We only see rape as wrong because we view ourselves as 'enlightened' creatures. Animals rape each other all the time, and we don't think it is wrong for them. I'm not advocating rape, because personally I think it is something we should have moved past in our evolution, however if you say it's wrong because of God, you must explain why atheists also view rape as wrong. If you didn't believe in God, would you be a rapist? I hope not.

  • every person is "enlightened" because every person has a conscience given to them by God. an atheist knows that rape is wrong because he too has a conscience given by God. just because an atheist does not believe in God does not mean he is exempt from God's law of right and wrong

  • People, including atheists see rape as wrong or evil because it violates our God given conscience. We know it's wrong to lie, steal, cheat, murder and rape - that's why laws are set up, so that in breaking these you will face a punishment.

  • "People, including atheists see rape as wrong or evil because it violates our God given conscience."

First of all, where in the bible does it condemn rape? But the conscience is easily explained by social evolution.

  • Where does the Bible condemn rape? Deuteronomy 22:25-27 "But if out in the country a man happens to meet a girl pledged to be married and rapes her, only the man who has done this shall die. Do nothing to the girl; she has committed no sin deserving death. This case is like that of someone who attacks and murders his neighbor, for the man found the girl out in the country, and though the betrothed girl screamed, there was no one to rescue her."

  • Only the young girls who are virgins may live; you may keep them for yourselves. (Numbers 31:18)

  • And no the conscience is NOT easily explained by social evolution. An animal does not feel bad about raping another animal, because it is spreading it's seed. A lion tears another animal to pieces and doesn't feel bad about it, it's just survival. The conscience is only a human element, not animal. Evolutionists have categorized humans as animals, and that's why they have problems with the conscience.

  • "An animal does not feel bad about raping another animal, because it is spreading it's seed."

It's always consensual in the animal world, males only have sex with females in heat.

"A lion tears another animal to pieces and doesn't feel bad about it, it's just survival."

Lions don't eat other lions, do they?

"The conscience is only a human element, not animal."

Bullshit, animals have a strict live and let live policy.

"Evolutionists have categorized humans as animals"

    because they are

  • Well be my guest at thinking your an animal, that's just the most absurd thing to believe in. If you want to believe you're a descendant of an ape, go for it. And live and let live is a human concept not animal.

  • "Well be my guest at thinking your an animal, that's just the most absurd thing to believe in."

It is a biological FACT that humans are animals, look up animal.

"If you want to believe you're a descendant of an ape, go for it."

It's a proven fact, human chromosome number 2.

"And live and let live is a human concept not animal."

It's both seeing as humans are animals.

  • It's definitely NOT fact, sir. It's pure conjecture and theory. Even scientists claim that they cannot prove anything 100%, to say you can, would assume that one would know everything. Science knowledge changed day by day. Again, no! Humans are not animals.

  • "Even scientists claim that they cannot prove anything 100%"

True, but when it gets to 96-99% it's true by default.

"Again, no! Humans are not animals."

    LOOK UP ANIMALS!

  • Sooo, you're saying to me. Go look up the definition of animals, by who? Wiki? Evolutionary dictonaries? Dictionaries that have changed the meanings and definitions of terms to suit evolutionists thinking? Evolutionists dominate the educational culture so much, that it's near impossible for people to learn the truth.

  • "any of a kingdom (Animalia) of living things including many-celled organisms and often many of the single-celled ones (as protozoans) that typically differ from plants in having cells without cellulose walls, in lacking chlorophyll and the capacity for photosynthesis, in requiring more complex food materials (as proteins), in being organized to a greater degree of complexity, and in having the capacity for spontaneous movement and rapid motor responses to stimulation"

    -Websters

  • hmmm you forgot the rest of it, or did you purposefully leave it out? Websters - "one of the lower animals as distinguished from human beings"

  • "hmmm you forgot the rest of it, or did you purposefully leave it out?"

That is not the technical definition, it is the practical use, that's why it is secondary. Did you notice that another definition is "a human being considered chiefly as physical or non-rational."

  • or this one - freedictionary "An animal organism other than a human, especially a mammal."

I rest my case, humans are not animals. The animal kingdom is not the same as human beings.

  • "I rest my case, humans are not animals"

Find a single scientist in the world to agree with you or I will be forced to point and laugh and your blasphemous stupidity.

  • and from biology online - "One of the lower animals; a brute or beast, as distinguished from man; as, men and animals."

So you use one definition, I use another.

  • I notice you always choose to use the secondary definition, the primary one from that website is...

"An organized living being endowed with sensation and the power of voluntary motion, and also characterised by taking its food into an internal cavity or stomach for digestion; by giving carbonic acid to the air and taking oxygen in the process of respiration; and by increasing in motive power or active aggressive force with progress to maturity."

  • This is a hot topic or heated debate as you know. Christians/Creationists have always held that humans are not mere animals, but instead are above them (though they sure can act like animals at times). This will probably never be resolved as there are passionate people on both sides. You have your beliefs, I have mine. The important thing will be who will be right when he dies? What is life all about? What will happen to us when we die? That's something science can and never will answer.

  • "This is a hot topic or heated debate as you know."

Only among christians who can't accept science due to their beliefs.

"You have your beliefs, I have mine."

    Science is not a belief.

"The important thing will be who will be right when he dies?"

I could think of few things I care less about.

    "What is life all about?"

    Surfing, music, friends, family, learning.

"What will happen to us when we die?"

We'll either get buried or burned, I think I'll donate my body to science.

  • @brucea42

Where does conscience come from? The purpose of conscience is to prevent people doing something that is bad for the community, so it good for the species. It's a feature we have got by evolution. Some other animals have concsience too, so it's nothing supernatural.

Asking "Where does the concsience come from" is like asking "where do the horns of a goat come from".

  • @tuitaitei where do the horns of a goat come from?

  • I really can't explain it better, because my english is very poor, but I think conscience is clearly a biological thing.

  • RAY COMFORT preached on streets of JERUSALEM. They were spitting at his face, literally spitting for preaching the Gospel of Christ to Jews, Moslims and terrorists.

  • Ray's a genius. IMHO he could have been a successful secular comedian or actor if he had wanted.

  • I'm from NZ and my accent sounds nowhere near as gay as Ray Comfort's.

  • how old are you? 10? grow up

  • Whatever you think about Ray Comfort, he does what he does because he loves his fellow man. Ask yourself what motivates your daily life. You might not like the answer...

  • He seems like a very genuine guy!

  • Mindless platitudes, inane arguments, poorly thought out reasoning, hey its a evangelical fundy!

  • Some day the Holy Spirit will be taken out of the way and you will be able to do as you please, but only for a short time before Jesus takes the unbelievers out.

  • your response is just inane jibberish. its incoherent. is this an example of the low hanging fruit that sheisters like ray comfort attract as followers?

  • Homi, can you or other libs dispute what I say? It's like videos that point out clear facts about the impossibility of evolution, atheist never argue about the subject at hand, they just make snide remarks and call people names.Surly you're better than that.

  • "Some day the Holy Spirit will be taken out of the way and you will be able to do as you please, but only for a short time before Jesus takes the unbelievers out."

    Ooooohhhh!!! Scary!

  • Man does not have the capacity to know what is right or wrong. The world says abortion is right, homosexuality is normal. These same people can justify anything apart from GOD.If there is no GOD,THERE IS NO SIN,THE SKY'S THE LIMIT.Thank God for the Christian influence guided by THE HOLY SPIRIT or we'd all have parrished by now.

  • "Thank God for the Christian influence guided by THE HOLY SPIRIT or we'd all have parrished by now."

Yup, and for the convenience, let's just forget all the millions that have perished because of Christianity, shall we?

  • Just because someone says they're Christian doesn't make it so.Catholics are responsible for killing more true Christian than anyone.

  • "Just because someone says they're Christian doesn't make it so.Catholics are responsible for killing more true Christian than anyone."

Don't you just love it when the different Christian branches accuse each other of being 'false' and consider themselves the only 'true' christians? Kind of illustrates how easy it is to interpret the Bible any way it suits you.

  • Its called the no true scotsman fallacy and its quite a common argument used by them.

  • If the liberal atheist says that truth is relative, there is no right or wrong , absolutes do not exist, truth is relative and tolerance is a must. How come they are always saying to Christians we are spreading lies that are absolutely wrong and teaching creation as a theory will not be tolerated Could this be hypocrisy?

  • Truth CAN be reltive, but it can certianly be right or wrong. The earth orbits around the sun, the moon orbits the earth, 5+5=10... these are truths

  • I agree with all you say Ray. In my humble beginnings searching for the truth, right from a small kid, before anybody told me anything, I just knew by instinct or conscience or God or whatever, that there must be a law to the way to God, and my thought was on the Ten Commandments as the law, so I can say from personal humble innocent beginnings that there is a lot of truth what Ray sais about the Ten Commandments as the mirror of God's Righteous Standard.

  • I see your point j7keith but how does that make it truth? I had the opposite experience growing up, I was raised in a catholic household, and as long as I could remember (by instinct or conscience as you say) I knew that there couldn't be a God. But I didn't take speculation as fact, I went to school, learned about evolution in university, and learned the truth through facts... not guessing through feeling.

  • Thanks blinnell for your comment. My point is: as I was a kid at the time, I think I happened to be looking into finding the truth, without the knowledge of someone actually saying to me, 'the ten commandments' is the law etc etc', I just happened to just think 'that it may be a the way to find God', and remember, when your a kid, looking for truth, its really sincere and innocent etc. Because years of corruption that comes to you through years of being in the world.

  • Ray Comfort is a modern day Paul the Apostle, so i guess that would make Mark Cahill a modern day Paul too since Ray said Mark Cahill is the only person on earth who makes him feel lukewarm!! :) God bless everyone!

  • Was the station that this was broadcast on in NZ a Christian station? If not, I think it is great that they broadcast so much of Ray's preaching and the WOTM show! Praise God!

  • I never saw the programme on television, but this programme is aired in New Zealand, on tv 3.

  • Evangelistic Christians, who's belief system is based on a blind faith that the bible is "THE WORD OF GOD" , incapable or unwilling to exercise any kind of logic, reason or intelligence in certainty of this "truth", are ideal targets for these charismatic scam artists.

  • did you watch the video? he makes a modest wage.. i would guess that it would be close to the average wage in the US, which says something about someone who is a writer, a radio & TV host, you won't find many that only take a small wage.

  • Some people do need something/someone to follow. Just giving you a "headsup" on reality.

  • If you really look at the facts, creation/evolution have the same amount going for/against them. I'm a Christian, and i believe that creationism doesn't have all the answers, but nor does evolution, both have their problems, but I'm on the creation side.

Blind faith is a rubbish term... just because you can't see something doesn't mean it isn't there

  • Sadly your wrong. Creation is the answer god did it, evolution doest have all the answers, the only one left is the initial spark of life.

  • I ask you,if God in fact"did it" what's wrong with proclaiming it?

  • To hear a better message on true Christianity check out Robert Tilton

  • I was on the toilet the other day and I heard that interview, it made me shiver causi I like love Ray, and god is like the the greatest. cya guys

  • I admire Ray he is a great evangelist may God bless his ministry!

  • Intelligent design makes sence to me because, many people say if God exists then what was there before him but if something was there before him then what was there before that? There had to be something or someone that started it all out and that was God.

  • Jesus Christ is the

    ONLY way to Heaven!!!

  • thepaganwolf is absolutely right. ray has become the spokesman for the religious right. they give him too much confidence and he thinks he actually makes sense. that's why an atheist kicked his ass in a debate.

  • please don't just throw comments out, please point out where this has happened ...video/audio link, thanks

  • www.nwcreation.net/debates. it was between ron barrier and ray comfort. ron responded to ray's arguments and ray just kept reading his speech verbatim. ray couldn't really argue with ron so he did what every evangelist does. . .he preached!

  • Did you notice the nervous laughter from the atheists as Ray spoke about what the end holds for them.

  • Well I guess he's making an impact then :)

  • Where's the bit on bananas?

  • wow, he seems pretty cool. I'm from New Zealand

and I'd like to make some kinda change in the world.

it's possible that i'm not as smart as him..

  • Good report...

  • it was fair and balanced for a secular channel. God will continue to bless this ministry.

  • Thank you for putting this up. A lot of people in the media think Ray is making lots of money but he's quite a humble and good stewart. God bless.
