Ultima is a kitten compared to Omega. Omega took forever to beat (on the original playstation) but it felt so satisfying after doing it. Replaying it on my phone and living it but im only on disc 2 :( looooobg way to go

@zer0cl0ud to it might be borning and stupid but ultima is super fast so it was actually kind of smart because thats the advantage ultima has over omega besides he can spam his move very quickly so if you dont have holy you must at least have auto haste on at least 2 people or ultima weapon will hit with that damn light pillar

@Kingoftheunknown100 i did it on mine with 1 person with auto haste on (my team was rinoa zella nd squall) squall mugged a three stars zell was just using recover and squall and rinoa drew eden and 100 ultima's each then after that i cast aura on squall and had him use meltdown then use renzokuken twice and rinoa cast aura on zell and after squalls 2 renzokuken's and lionheart and zells special ultima fell over. I also turned game speed down to minimum and junctioned triple to speed.

@99XSeriousGuyX99 kinda but not really iltima weapon was hard the first few times but the 1st time I beat him was in under 5 mins but I forgot to draw eden the 2nd time took longer and 3rd time really whooped his ass without hero or meltdown just use aura and hit him with the lion heart finisher twice its all about patince in the last 3 boss fight

lol it took me like 20 trys to beat him lol i finally decided that i had to use the hero item nd used it on zell and did his "Armageddon fist" twice and it killed him it took twice cuz his atk stat was jus 206 tho he was lik lvl 50 while quistis was lvl 66 nd squall 93 yep pretty unbalanced lol

it was mostly spamming GF's, which had a lot more hp and kick ass. I did use Lion Heart once or twice, though.

Ultima Weapon... Yeah, in French version this monster is called Monarch (f*ckin translators). Luckily I stole Eden (aka Orbital... Another great translation !) and killed it with 2 Leonheart and some Attacks, one the first time (I couldn't save because I hadn't the special skill).

Killed this guy just now with the PSN store version on the PSP. Zell 100, Squall 100, Selphie 87. No ultimate weapons or holy wars needed :) Meltdown + two Rez's from Squall, I think it was like a 2 or 3 minute battle :)

you guys know what I love about the old FF games on PS1.. they allow you to travel on the overworld.. I mean yeah we have GTA's sand box but exploring the world on your airship, landing on Cactuar island and fighting giant Cactuar, or in IX where you explore the world with Chocobo, or getting to the next town.. it was priceless, they really gave you the "fantasy" and adventure feeling
