  • I am in my 18 month of sisterlock journesy and my hair is very soft. It is thoroughly locked in th back, but the front still have sof to straight hair and I am almost tempted to take them down. I am begging for some words of encourasgement.

  • Where can i get the sista loc starter kit

  • when can you stop using sisloc shampoo and what shampoo do you need i really need to know bcuz im out of sisloc shampoo and want to use something diffrent

  • U R amazing!!!! Great JOB!!!

  • 4 hours?!?!?!?!?!?! her hair is very beautiful so i guess it's worth it!!! :D

  • Why are they called sister locks

  • so do they start of twisting like dreads or plated like mico/.

  • Beautiful!!!

  • So, Ms. Phyllis, if someone has the same hair texture and issues as Robin does, is their best bet to see their locktician more often in order to intervene on the matting?

  • I sooooo have SL envy! I have the opposite problem, no density very thin hair. How can I create the illusion of volume?

  • I love this video. I have a client that has this type of density, 3 1/2 to 4 hours is how long I take. Very nice.

  • U made my day!

  • Ms.Phyllis You make me wanna move from NY just for your SL services. You are so talented & skilled. I know a woman with a lesser standard of quality would have taken so many shortcuts with a head full of so much BEAUTIFUL hair as Robin has, but you really are a consistently fine example of what it looks like to have passion & respect for this art. Thank you for videos like this. It gets us thru some of our SL woes esp for those of us with thick hair like Robin. Tell her "its gorgeous, gurl!" lol

  • @LovedByMeBeautifully

Hi LovedByMeBeautifully. Thank you. I've realized recently that there are plenty of sisters with thick, dense and very healthy hair and that they're process/issues should be shared too. Most of my client's have come to me transitioning from thin, damaged and processed hair and don't even know what a healthy head of hair can look like. Thick dense and healthy hair can come with it's own set of issues, but proper care and maintenance will keep it at it's best.

  • As always, Phyllis you have done a beautiful job. I just wish I lived closer so you could service my Sisterlocks. Take care.

  • wow! she has a ton of hair

  • How many locs does she have? An approximation is fine, just based on your experience. Thanks. You are uber talented!

  • @elease03

Hi elease03. Robin has in the neighborhood of 550+ locks

  • @VideoProfits

You are really fast to get all of that done in 4 hours!

  • her hair is pretty. What is the difference between sister locks and dread locks? thanks

  • Her locks are beautiful! I have a lot of hair also...one of the reasons why I was afraid to get sisterlocks and opted for traditional locks. Thank you for sharing!

  • It only took you 4 hours? Thats great! Gosh it takes longer than that for most ppl to get a sew in weave. lol

  • gr8 vid did any of her sister loc burst or dropped off from all the pulling etc... during her loc journey

  • @bustitwydeopen365

Hi bustitwydeopen365. Not a one. I'm sooo use to doing her hair and know how to deal with it. Breakage and thinning has never been an issue for her...just severe matting. Thanks for posting.

  • Wow! Is that 6 to 8 weeks growth on Robyn? I hope you don't charge by the hour. LOL!

  • @ohpuhleeeze

Hi ohpuhleeeze. I would NEVA NEVA EVA EVA on purpose allow her to go 6-8 weeks! She's a regular 4 week client and could really come every 3 weeks. Her hair is gorgeous though.

  • Great Vid as always!!!
