  • THAT MOTHERFUCKIN BIRD RUINING LOKI'S MOMENT I WILL MURDER IT IF IT IS THE LAST THING I DO!

  • My god, that man is beautiful <3 I think I am in love with Loki..

I seriously liked him through the whole movie, and when he let go of Thor in the end I was like :"NOOOOOOOO!" Seriously.

  • Love that little thing he does with his eyebrows at 2:32

  • THE CROW/RAVEN ... SYMBOLISM, UGGGHHHH.

  • I swear! He's like "Mommy, what's going on?" O.o

Oh, Loki. I'm on your side! Can't wait for the Avengers! GO LOKI! <3

  • Tom Hiddleston is so great!

  • why wasn't this scene in the movie?

  • seeing this makes me sad so sad that i cannot find a proper word how could it have come to this :/

  • Whats with the crow

  • @WarriorGinga They're Odin's two ravens, Huginn and Muninn (thought and memory), who are supposed to watch earth for and report to him to make up for his missing eye.

  • why it was not in the film!!! it would be the best scene!

  • Someone must make a Gif of his "Ô_õ" expression !!

  • Poor Loki looks so confused

  • Loki: We have a army

    Stark: we have a hulk

  • I love his incredulous expression at 2:32 like, "Wait, are you serious?"

I sure hope Loki redeems himself. Either way I'm on his side. :P

  • His voice is...amazing. Such a good actor, too good for this movie if I'm honest, but that's why I liked it. :)

  • 2:31 - 2:35 omg his reaction and face... the best!

  • @ladyquinquevir you're so damn right! he looks so lost, confused and vulnerable at this very moment, it's heartbreaking.

  • Comment removed

  • they so should've kept it.

  • what the hell is that squawking noise? lol

    but

    unf

    yeah

    #Lokiwillrule

  • @Cruciothekitty27 i know i was like is there a bird on set?

  • @Cruciothekitty27 Actually there is a crow on set, you can see it well at 2:38

  • @I3Loki but if he is on the bad side he will die at the end... :'( <3

  • 2:32 his eyebrows <3 god he's so cute.

  • ...fair boy your eyes haunt me…

  • CURSE THIS BEAUTIFUL MAN WITH HIS BEAUTIFUL EYES.

  • I understand why they took out all the Loki scenes though, because he would have completely outshone Thor if they hadn't. Plus, they need him to be the "villain"

  • Hey! This scene was in the theatrical movie.

  • I can proudly say that my collection of Tom Hiddleston's movies is growing..

  • I love him.

  • i love it at 2:32 when he raises his eyebrow like "what the hell are you doing?" XD

  • emm what happens if a god dies and how would he die if they are immortal right?

  • @TheKisameHoshikagi In Norse mythology the gods were mortal. They could get sick, wounded and even die. Its the only mythology that I know of that is like this...weird I know.

  • Is this from DVD?

Loki is not a villain, Odin is the one who made him feel so lonely and helpless, really hope that Marvel won't make this character so flat again.

  • EYEBROWS! HIS EYEBROWS!!! Damn it... it's always his eyebrows that make me wanna huggle him!!

  • "My King" that was awesome!! It did sound gooooood! :D

  • Why the hell did they delete this scene? Beautifully acted and shows the more 'human' side to Loki. Oh - that's why!!! :)

  • Loki is a big king

  • 2:32 sweeet

  • the crow in the back round is so appropriate hahaha

  • Everybody loves Loki and he really loves his family. Loki he's not a villain. he just needs to be understand.

  • There are no villains, only misunderstood heroes.

    Loki is a misunderstood hero.

  • They should have kept it in!!!!

  • OH MY GOD! THIS IS THE BEST DELETED SCENE EVER!!!!! Tom Hiddleston is sooo amazing!!

  • There should be no secrets in the family, Frigga? You're not even Thor's mom in the comics! lol.

  • "I never wanted the throne!"

This scene really described his feelings well. Why did they take this out? D: Three minutes more wouldn't hurt anyone....

  • @pearvodka Yes because Loki isnt bad. Hes just a little on the mischevious side :3 and the joke is on u directors! People love Loki anyways!

  • @geekify321boom Ikr? Awwwww :)

  • Yes yes yes a thousand times yes! :D they should make a movie for Loki cuz hes the best character ever :3

  • I love his look at 3:26. It's like "Now I can show them what I'm made of."

  • I think Tom Hiddleston(Loki) was originally supposed to play the role of Thor...so I've read

  • @ticklemepurple86 He read for the part, but Brangh decided that he would make a much better Loki.

  • @ticklemepurple86 Yeah, he already knew Ken (from Wallander back in the day)...thing was, when he realized that Chris's arms were the size of his thighs, he kinda gave up on that.

  • @Sierraness23 Hiddleston does work out and he was told to lose weight to get the part of Loki. in one interview he beat the talk show host at arm wrestling. But i am glad he got the part of Loki.

  • @ticklemepurple86 And aren't we all thankful for that? =D

  • @ticklemepurple86 I mean, he is so great at Loki I can't imagine him as anything else...

  • 2:33 Tom's eyebrows are the cutest thing!

  • it's possible Loki will turn good in the Avengers

  • @MsChastity22 Here's hoping for that redemption arc!

  • @pearvodka I've heard the redemption will be more in Thor 2 then in The Avengers!

  • @MsChastity22 I certainly hope so. He's too good a character to get rid of. And he'd make an awesome good guy!

  • @MsChastity22 No way in hell, he's the kind of villain who stays bad

  • @MsChastity22 I don't think he'll stay good for long. Remember this is Loki we're talking about. He only helps the good guys when something directly affects him as well.

  • @OceanbornAngel I know, that's what makes him so exciting !

  • @MsChastity22 He will. The main villian will be Thanos and Red Skull will be in it too.

  • @MsChastity22 i hope that Loki stays in the bad side (=

  • @MsChastity22 I don't think so. There is going to be a Thor 2 in 2013 so I think they're going to milk it for a bit longer. BTW Loki is badass.

  • @MsChastity22 Technically none of the Asgardians are what we call 'good' they just either fight to defend or subjugate us. Loki isn't evil, he's just really angry and has the majority of his fun at others' expense. He will, however, have to swallow his pride and ask his brother and the Avengers for help when he gets his butt kicked for lying to his own army!!! Yeah, nice going there Loki; next time don't give yourself away until AFTER the world is conquered!

  • @MsChastity22 he would be such a badass addition dear god i''d die

  • twinkies

  • I swear they had to get rid of all his good scenes because they need him to be the Big Bad in the Avengers, and that's almost impossible if he's a lovable character like he is here.

  • @Sierraness23 Exactly!

  • @pearvodka evil, nasty, biased editors

everyone fell in love with Loki any way BLEH!!!!!!!!!

  • @Sierraness23 well they didn't succeed

i think he's still the most lovable character in the movie

in fact i'd go so far as to say he's the only character i actually liked in this movie (whatever that says about me xD)

  • I love the sudden changes of his emotions! You can see he wasn't expecting this outcome.

  • omg the look on his face at 2:31...

  • @keynna47 Make's me wanna hug him! :(

  • So struck by that look on his face when he's presented with the staff. Brilliant.

  • the fact that this was deleted made Loki look like more of an asshole in the final cut. because this shows his mother made him be king. it wasn't his choice.

  • @SheLooksHuman Every deleted scene shows good side of him. What the hell? :@

  • Comment removed

  • Loki is so awesome! ♥

    Thumbs up for Loki!

  • awesome big bed...I wonder what things I can do on it hmmm....hehehe

  • @Budiman448 I hope you at least wait for Odin to get off it first. ;)

  • wtf was that squawking?

  • @koolhatesme That was Odin's ravens, perched on either side of his bed :) I can't remember their names...

  • @CarpetRaver Huginn and Muninn

  • @CarpetRaver Huginn and Muninn

  • Ah Loki, the most awesome God in Asgard, yes, he might be a bit... "bad", but who cares? he's sexy... He should be king.. then again I have always liked Loki, (being Norwegian and really into norse myths) I liek them pale, ravenhaired and a bit sly...

  • @TintinFan4ever oooooh so black people are a no no? RAAAAACIST.

  • Why was this scene cut out?! Then again, how sorry did the director want us to feel for Loki? Lol.

  • Loki is a villain. Even I, who has never read the comics, went into the movie knowing that, at some point, he'd turn evil ...

SO WHY THE HELL DID THIS MOVIE MAKE ME LOVE HIM SO MUCH???

Sorry, Thor is great, and evil is bad, but if loving Loki is embracing evil then call me Satan's Mistress because I will be cheering for Loki from now on XD

  • WOW! Why in the world did they cut this scene? My goodness!

  • "You mustn't lose hope that your father will return to us, and your brother."

"OH SHI- I mean ... What hope is there for Thor?"

  • What a PITY...

This SCENE really should have included in the movie...

  • They shouldn´t have cut this off. What a pity.

  • It was nothing to do with the noise, they could easily edit that out I'm sure. Why did they delete this? The movie wasn't fleshed out enough, they shouldn't of deleted anything! Lol if I heard that noise whilst acting I would of cracked up big style. xx

  • Pretty much all of these deleted scenes in Asgard would have helped flesh out the movie's story more and Thor's relationship with his family. I demand a director's cut. The final cut feels like an abridged version after watching all of these.

  • they deleted because part the noise the end e=end of the story

  • Whaaa?! Why would they not include this in the movie? I really hate it when the "bad guys" are far more interesting and likeable than "good guys". I mean, just from watching the movie, I know which brother would make a better king.

  • Mmmmmmm loves me some Loki....why did they delete this!? ....and what was that squawking in the background!?

  • @micmaclovesmusic that squawking was from one of the two (or possibly both) ravens you see sitting on a perch in the background. According to norse mythology hese two ravens are Odins ravens named Hugin (Thought) and Munin ( Mind) sent out every day to gather news from the nine realms, and is how Odin stays in touch with everything that happens (it is said he can see and hear even in the odinsleep ;) ).

Them squawking fits so perfect with the scene that i actually doubt it was unintentional

  • @vridstoft oh lol well that explains it! thanks!

  • Loki, my king...mmhmmm;D

  • 2:30 the eyebrows, oh, the eyebrows...

  • @TwistedCyberChick ugh I know what you mean! So much emotion in that simple gesture.. so powerful and moving!

  • Loki is one of those unlikely villains, he wanted to do the right thing and become so affixed on getting the acceptance of his family that it clouded what was right and wrong . . . that and he was always the 'trickster' like Bricriu. Nice video and yes, I do think more people ended up liking the rold of Loki and rooting for him. Bad, Odin, bad, bad Odin; stealing a baby and trying to justify it through dishonesty. No pudding for you, mister.

  • I was rooting the whole time for Loki to get what he wants. I still do when I read the comic or watch the Avengers. Loki's character is just so deep and interesting!

  • did anyone else see him smile when he grabbed it and turned around?...thumbs up if u did!

  • loki is the best

  • I think I heard the majestic space duck in the background lol

  • I would kill to have a bed like that! :D

anyways, Loki needs to have more scenes to explain his true nature :)

  • I hated how they deleted almost all the best scenes with Loki >:

  • This scene shows a lighter side of Loki and that he isn't some sinister villain like Ivan Vanko or Red Skull, but he evolves from an innocent and caring person who only wants to be accepted by his family, to turn into someone with a vendetta against his family.

Even without the extra scenes, Loki stole the whole film. Thor didn't seem all the interesting and I think that they could have approached them better. Turn loki into inncoent to sinister and thor from sinister to innocent.

  • I think this scene shows that Loki didn't want the throne, as he said, but i also think it shows that giving it to him was a really bad idea

  • as much as i agree with all my fellow fangirls..and boys about how this scene should have been kept in, we forget a simple truth, THE MOVIE IS CALLED THOR and i can understand both sides, that this scene explains A LOT and makes loki even more indepth then he is in the original cut BUT from a classic hollywood view.... you cant have ppl careering on the "villian" instead of the "hero" otherwise it would just be crazy lol

  • Hugin and Munin! :D I wondered where those cute little crows went! I wished they were in the movie. Oh well, beggers can't be choosers

  • This is a really solid scene. It would have been nice to see it in the picture.

  • I think that Loki is a defined character, meaning he has to have many elements about him so that the audience can respect him. I think that Loki isn't nessacerly "Evil" but he is the protagonist, that shows the most developement within the story. Loki has many things about him that might catch the eyes and hearts of the "Thor" fan groups but the film should have depicted more on the other sides of him so that the audience can see his truthful intentions.

  • While I really like the scene, the movie needed Loki to be the "villain" and this scene clearly shows that Loki did not just take the throne which is implied in the movie. Most everything he did could be easily justified except sending the destroyer after Thor. Though I notice that he didn't actually tell the thing to kill him... just don't let him come home AND he could have had the destroyer burn Thor to ash but instead just smacked the hell out of him. So was he REALLY trying to kill him?

  • That makes Loki's declaration that he didn't want the throne that much more believable. The look on his face when he realizes the line of succession...I got the sense that he hadn't even thought about it until Frigga said the words.

I hate when good scenes are cut out!

  • Dude I feel bad for Loki, he defienetly lost it...

  • They definitely should have put this in--it shows that Loki wasn't taking so much advantage of his father being out of commission. In the movie it seems like he just took the throne on his own. I never will understand some of the thing they delete from movies.

  • Oh my god, 2:30 - 2:36. D:

  • 3:36 Yes it does!

  • how about you faggots stop talking about gay ass harry potter

  • the sound of the crow is the one they sould have muted.. not delete this whole scene.. it's just a waste they didn't include this.. =(

  • Loki please come to my house and whisper in my hear all night long!

  • ya know.. My mum thinks i'm funny and not right in the head, cause almost everytime i watch a movie, i end up liking the bad guy.

  • Has anyone else noticed the scenes they mostly cut out were this woman (I forget her name) acting , they might replace her in the next one because I barely noticed her in the finished movie

  • @uubnex4 Rene Russo. Her scenes were great and should have been included .I felt she was the one keeping the family together

  • I like the bad guys.

  • Why the hell wasn't this in the movie?

  • This is the moment that everyone is waiting for.... Loki to be KING!!

  • They should have left this scene in, especially since Loki said he "never wanted to be King, just an equal." This explains that transition.

Deleting this scene only to show Loki as a power-crazed king did not compliment the rest of his character plot: Everything he did was to prove himself, not to take over a throne. It 's frustrating when writers flip a character 180 degrees from one personality to another: arrogant Thor turns into an angel over night, and Loki into a psychopath? No thanks.

  • @Natspacevids Nah, Loki was never exactly chock full o' sanity. Why would he think that destroying Jotunheim would make him a worthy son in Odin's eyes? Odin had already banished Thor for attacking them. And he told Loki that he had hoped for a lasting peace with them. So it doesn't seem reasonable for Loki to think attacking them again would win Odin's approval. Also, Loki attempting to murder his brother certainly wouldn't make Odin proud. I mean, honestly.

  • @yosoyconsuela Sure it isn't reasonable: Despite being sly for trying to prove Thor flawed in Odin's eyes in his desperation to gain Odin's equal recognition, Loki was initially neither insane or even hateful. Then he went from clever & even 'loving' to suddenly hogging the throne & senselessly butchering Thor & an entire race?

Overnight character flips from 'meek' to 'apocalyptic' don't really click with me ;) Either way, it was a fun movie & characters so I enjoyed it regardless!

  • @Natspacevids Are you forgetting that Asgardians were killed in the Jotun stealth attack Loki orchestrated? Costing innocent people their lives and potentionally putting still more in danger just to make Thor look bad is not reasonable behavior either. That was at the beginning of the movie. So no, he didn't just suddenly go crazy. He was already on the brink and the big reveal about his true parentage pushed him over.

  • @yosoyconsuela I doubt we'll see eye to eye by how diversely we can interpret characters, I actually find Thor insane & callous for risking another war on his people. I just feel the producers left us with an overly psychotic villain that simply did not compliment Loki’s initial role. He might have been ‘bad’ but not to the extreme they pulled. Producers sacrificed what would have been an amazing character. Guess they needed the Avengers' villain. Anyhow, enjoyed our little conversation. Ciao!

  • @Natspacevids No, Thor was just stupid. He was a hot-head who didn't consider consequences of his actions. Loki was the thinker. He was fully aware that innocent people could've been hurt in the attack that HE planned. He knew full well that Thor's reaction would be to go off half-cocked and he egged Thor on. He knew that Thor's act of aggression could bring war upon Asgard. He just cared more about making Thor look bad than anything else. And you say Thor is the callous one? Yeah, okay.

  • @yosoyconsuela That's because Loki = Draco in Leather Pants and Thor = Ron the Death Eater. Haha.

  • @AChickenBoo Lol. I love tvtropes.org. But your comment made me want to start sorting Thor characters into Hogwarts Houses. :D

  • @yosoyconsuela Ha. Thor and Sif would be Gryffindor. Loki would be Slytherin. Jane and Selvig would be Ravenclaw. Am I right?

  • @AChickenBoo What about the Warriors Three?

  • @AChickenBoo I think it would be a toss up between Slytherin and Ravenclaw for Loki. He's very clever, so he could go into either one.

  • @chavamara Well, Slytherins can be intelligent too. Slytherins are just more inclined to apply their intelligence in devious ways. Loki's cunning is a major facet of his character. Ergo, he belongs in Slytherin.

  • @AChickenBoo what if he wanted to be in hufflepuff or ravenclaw if he wanted to be in slytherin then he would be the sorting hat puts you in what you want

  • @Natspacevids lol your fangirlism is showing.

  • @AChickenBoo Hahah! Yah, I guess I'm siding with yet another Villain :)

  • @Natspacevids Hey, whatever floats your boat.

  • @AChickenBoo PS. I checked out your link, tvtropes.org - cool! Didn't come across that one before.

  • What was with the crow sound?

  • @dreamer4life11 Its from Norse mythology, Odin had two ravens who would scatter across the Earth and report him little secrets they overheard so he could truly know what was going on everywhere.

  • @MrCure4 Thank you for clearing that up for me :)

  • Underneath it all, Loki will ALWAYS be Frigga's little baby.

IDK why they felt the need to edit this scene. It's so beautiful and it adds another layer to the characters and to the real tragedy of the ending. The whole time Loki looks like he just wants to run to his mama for comfort and Frigga looks like she just wants to cuddle her baby and tell him everything's going to be okay. *SOBS* Dx

  • And how the hell they don't keep this scene, is freaking awesome, Loki is indeed THE BEST.

  • Ya I think this scene was in the theatrical release.

  • No dip

  • Loki is the bad guy in the Avengers. :\

  • what the hell is that noise at 2:59 ???

  • @sparky99945 Go to 2:32, there's a bird flapping in the background. Also, cute Loki face :3 I don't know how they managed to stay in character with a bird squawking in the back. Dedication Ftw.

  • @RibenaIsAddictive its either Huginn or Muninn (ravens of Óðinn (Odin)) they bring him news from the other realms according to Snorri Sturluson when he wrote the story of norse mythology. Snorri also was the first one who made Loki Laufeyarson appear in Norse Mythology...after all Loki has an Icelandic name

  • Thumbs up if you think Loki should have stayed King (I think he's way better than Thor).

  • @angelwolfchild16 I love Loki, but honestly? FRIGGA should've been on the throne. She's the only one in the family who seems to have proper control of her emotions. Loki's awesome but his weakness is that he's an emotional bottler - it's never good to have someone in charge who suppresses emotions until they come out in a giant explosion. Thor has the opposite problem - he rages at everything - and Odin is just confused. Frigga was the only one who dealt with everything in an appropriate manner

  • @DuchessAliana Maybe women are not allowed to rule in Asgard? Thor mentioned to Sif that he supported her when others scoffed at the idea that a young maiden could be a fierce warrior. What reason would anyone have to scoff at that other than good old fashioned sexism at its finest? So yeah, Asgardian society seems rather patriarchal.
