  • hey, i was wondering if you know what gieger counters make the same noises as the one you hear in the games "S.T.A.L.K.E.R." and "Fallout 3" as im looking for one with that exact or similar sound.

  • ah, well that would explain that. I prefer Geiger counters that actually scare the fuck out of you with so much clicking it becomes static.

  • I don't understand why your making all these videos with barely ticking geiger counters. I mean if you really want it to tick or click get some pitchblende.

  • It is barely clicking because it is a high range counter.

  • It is barely clicking because it is a counter that is only picking up gamma rays for the most part. Any GM tube geiger counter is not considered "high range", but the sensitivities do vary. I am guessing the makers of that clicker wanted the tube shielded against beta and alpha particles. If your counter could detect beta, the clicking would skyrocket.

  • I have a chunk of betafite. I didn't know it was radioactive. :( great

  • that was a legendary comment, hey if you dont want your betafite i'll gladly take it off your hands! ha ha ha :D

  • betafite is child's play stuff. If you want something to really crank out the roentgens, buy some radioactive ore and even some autinite/torbernite.
