  • lipton sells dehydrated packages.....somewhere around 4 bucks for 4 pouches @ 2 litres a pouch so why would someone go this road to dehydrate?

  • @favthings I have used the Liptons. It's basically a broth with barely any noodles. This is a very hearty meal. Much different than the Liptons.

  • what about cup of noodles?

  • Hey! Have you tried the Campbell's dehydrated soups already. Are they not as good? They are pretty cheap too.

  • I always wondered if that would work…. Great Video… Thanks

  • that seemed to work out fine. And of course, if you ran several trays it would significantly cut the power cost for each meal. Good stuff!

  • Ok. So it tastes good. How good? 5 out of 10 good or would we be creaping in on an 8 here? I have a dedydrator and you can save me some time if after all that you end up with a 5. Thanks for sharing.

  • @EconoChallenge I think I am going to have to say a 6 out of 10... I wouldn't go as far as an 8. I think an important thing to remember is this is a healthier meal as well. If it were a cheese lasagna or something it may get up to an 8 or so :) It is Select Harvest. Thanks for the comments!

  • Interesting. If I had a dehydrator I probably would never have thought of doing soup? Good test nevertheless. Good idea at the end with the thickener and extra powder of stock...Dash Riprock

  • @mrriprock2 Thanks Rip.
