  • Yeah!! That would be awesome!! See my birthday is in the begining of April and that's what I really wanted as a bithday present! Lol I've always wanted an mmd made for me lol

  • @Cinderpool28 OK sounds good! Just message me closer to the time with links to the stuff I'll need, like the motion and models and stuff.

  • u did an awesome job on the lighting

  • this is really amazing. I've always wanted something like this. How much does it cost?

  • What's with all the camera movement? She's the only thing in the room, there's nothing else for the camera to focus on. >-<

  • @BokoNOM It's basically because I think it would be boring having one static camera shot for the whole thing. There's not much to focus on here so it's hard to make it interesting.

  • I love this bro!! That's amazing! One day I hope to have something like this in my apartment! This is totally amazing!! Do you think you could take a request from me?

  • @Cinderpool28 Thanks! I probably can't take a request right now. How about end of February?

  • thanks....Miku LV

  • This song actually made me drink begetaburu juisu @_@

  • Random question: I've been wondering if she looks flatter on the screen in real life, or does it look like she's actually standing there like in the video?

  • @misschibigeisha Well, it all depends on how close you are. If you are close, she looks flat because you have 2 eyes. That can be thought of as having "3D vision." The camera I'm filming with is not 3D, so that's why she looks like she's actually in the room. But if you are far enough away, it's more convincing. If I filmed with a 3D camera, she would look flatter. Does that make sense?

  • WEEEEEE!

Ahahah, very nice job, I love this, Miku looks very happy here :3

  • omg i love this model x3

i like how you've lightened up the room a little--before it was hard to tell that she was life-sized but with that minor lighting it really adds the effect of her size

ah~ i cant express how much i love this

  • @ItsSoDomVoice Thank you! This stage is pretty new so I'm making little improvements here and there to get a better picture.

  • The only thing that ruins this for me is when I remember how the people in the front row looked at Mikunopolis. They looked bored -_- I'm watching the bluray and trying to enjoy Miku and I keep seeing those people's reflections on the screen just staring at her like they were watching paint dry......

  • @Ultimaniacx4 Yes that was very annoying. Apparently those people who got the best seats didn't know anything about Miku. Talk about a waste...

  • how do you do this? This would be so much easier then waiting my whole life to go to a concert when I could totally just have one at home. X3

  • @michellecool9801 There is a behind-the-scenes video I put in the description where I show how it's all set up.

  • Alright... I'll jump on the question wagon. Do you have the ability to record Teto Kasane?

  • @Alvinloser1 I have the ability to record anybody you can put in MMD and put a dance/song with!

  • 0:33 WEEEEEEEE!!! I love how you follow her with the camera to great effect! Having close quarters might have disadvantages, but it also has it's advantages. Not even SEGA can replicate that scene cuz their cameras have to be further back from the stage. Awesome work!

  • -starts dancing- =w=

    Great job! :D

  • Her airplane motion is SO CUTE! ^_^

  • D: and my medley?

  • @Dancealoid I'll do yours next :)

  • @39diyMMDConcert but only you need to project my video and that its all! because the video is perfect to project D:

  • @Dancealoid I just filmed it tonight.

  • @39diyMMDConcert ok thanks C: but in life size plz...

  • @Dancealoid It is.

  • and dont forget put my name in the description that thise model belongs to me alelokk and hanaminasho or i will get in trouble.

  • @MrAlexisDouk1 OK I'll do that now.

  • VEEEERRRRRY nice! ;D

you have just made me realize that I. HAVE. BEEN. WAITING. FOR. THIS. O3O

anyways, a little tip, if you don't mind.

because of your camera angle, I suggest that you adjust the virtual camera angle so that it's not looking directly at a level as if you were eye-level with her feet, which is suitable for a concert setting, but eye-level with her magical floating hairpieces (because, you know, she's short :P ) That way, you can see the top of her shoes, increasing realism ;D

  • @pccontroller Thank you, and thanks for the tip! I've experimented with this type of positioning before but I found that she moves up and down on the screen, which will make her appear too high or too low at times. In Popipo, she makes a figure 8, which means she gets closer and farther - if I rendered the animation like this, you will see her float up when she gets farther away. But I think it could work with the black floor now though. I'll try that in another video!

  • @39diyMMDConcert ah, right XP (and you're welcome)

I guess I'm so used to Miku's 2D concert movements (oh, SEGA, and your ways :P)

thanks for the quick feedback - you're one of the fastest and most considerate YouTube replying professional-looking-production-type-person I know that takes suggestions so quickly ;D

  • @pccontroller Wow, thank you!

  • @39diyMMDConcert no problem!

I have a question though. I know the various MMD models and video scalings would change this, but is the projection of Miku 5' 2"?

I think that it'd be pretty epic if you took a picture with her ;D

  • @pccontroller Yes, I try to keep it as close to 5' 2" as possible. There is a scale that I put all my models against to try to get them close to their right heights. I have presets for the common Vocaloids.

I'd love to take a picture with Miku :) I'll just have to tweak the lighting a lot to get it to work, and I'll have to be behind the net.

  • @39diyMMDConcert that is very awesome, very awesome indeed ;D

    such dedication you have... O3O

also, for the picture, would HDR help at all?

  • @pccontroller Yeah, I think that would help. Again, thanks for the advice! You have given useful suggestions.

  • @39diyMMDConcert you're welcome! :D *feels useful*

and thank you for taking them! :DDD (such a fast reply!)

I can't imagine how busy you are with all of these requests! :O

  • That outfit... k-kawaii... ^w^

  • Her skirt physics are a little weird, but it's still pretty amazing.

  • Love this song!! Thank you for uploading!! :)

  • LOOOVEE!! The model is AWESOME! >.< You're so lucky!

  • @NayaRlz do you want her?

  • THAT WAS JUST TO PERFCT x3

  • You should have used the motion data from the Sapporo Blu-ray :( Or did you have to use this one because of the size?

  • @AzusaNakano0 I would but I got a copyright strike on my account for using the one for Kocchi Muite Baby :( It seems they're after people uploading anything with those animations. 3 strikes and you're out!

  • @39diyMMDConcert

Oh no! That's too bad :( I hope they don't start taking down ALL of those kinds of videos...

  • @39diyMMDConcert Not really 3, it depends to them whether want to suspend you if you did something copyrighting like 2 times, youll get suspended. :\

  • @39diyMMDConcert who claimed it? SEGA | MAGES, or Media Interactive, Inc.? I ask because the latter is targeting all kinds of popular Miku videos without any real infringement issues (although it *would* be infringement if you *didn't* own the BluRay and used it for a projection, but if you *did*, all would be well. If they really didn't want people to use it, they should've put a whole 'terms of usage' clip in front of the video. But don't worry - my lips are sealed; I'm on your side).

  • @pccontroller It was MAGES. SEGA doesn't have a problem with my other video of life-size Miku ripped straight from their blu-ray! I do own ALL the blu-rays, so if that's what's required, then it's legit.

  • I like this music!!!

  • whos happy now???? i am!!!!!!!!!! lol thank you for thinking of it

  • OMG. First comment!! (I think..)

I adore this model, and I think this dance only made her cuter~!

    Good job!

  • @MaydayFireBall Thank you! This was my first time using this model and she is awesome!
