In fact, we had a lot of good Jazz Rock & Progressive bands in the 70's: 14Bis, Bacamarte, Bicho da Seda, O Terço, Casa das Máquinas (1st and 3rd albums), Recordando O Vale Das Maçãs, Som Imaginário, Terreno Baldio, A Barca do Sol, and many others ;-)

All of'em are very nice! Most prog stuff, but with a Brazilian flavor. Search for them on downloading blogs ;-)

Gotta go to College right now, reply this comment and I'll search some blogs with some of this bands for download for ya ;-)

Indeed, Azimuth is a helluva band from my country. I think you would love to check a Brazilian 70's prog band called "Bacamarte". Nice stuff too!
