@wedgemaster14 What you didn't see on the video was that he looked right at me before he jumped in front of me, so he knew I was filming and he didn't care. And no, I have no patience with that kind of BS.
I'm all about the Golden Rule.
And this is "just a concept" that could have replaced the Crown Vic, if someone at Ford had some balls. A hybrid version for the green crowd and the taxi market, a 5 liter HO V8 for the cops. Oh, well.
I have two crown vics. An 89 and a 98. I want to get one of these if they came out but i have the feeling this car is gonna be out of reach for the average american. Thats a gm move. I guess i'll buy a Focus.
I hope that this thing ACTUALLY becomes the next generation Crown Vic....the overall design is pretty stinkin' good....it just needs some detail change ups, and some other engine options that are not sooo powerful, like the standard and lx 4.6L 224 h.p. V-8, and the lx sport 4.6L 239 h.p. V-8...'cause the 5.0L 400 h.p. V-8 would just be too much car for the average driver...I mean, could you imagine what would happen if you gave that to a kid who just graduated high school?
All American car manufacturers will be filing for bankruptcy by 2015. just wait. Americans car manufacturers should just all quit right now.... really !!!! STOP WASTING TAX PAYER'S MONEY IN BAILING YOUR ASSES OUT !!!
A plastic POS, basically. Ford needs to realize that police don't need posh paint jobs and alloy rims and special head lights and taillights, they just need a another plain jane car like the crown victoria. Durability, heavy duty cop cars, not stupid fucking all plastic cars. Fucking ugly ass car too.
Replace the panther chassis with this and revise the front end look a bit, I despise the "bars" look. I hope its a fad that disappears really soon. Other then the side view and the rear I see nothing that looks "Muscle" about this car. When I first saw this the first thing I thought was omfg That is fugly...I was referring to the front.
Please ford name it a crown Victoria, Grand marquise, Town car. These names have meaning to us Americans.
Not many, unfortunately. But with a few changes, this one could be on an assembly line three years from now, if Ford has the guts. A little more chrome, it's a Grand Marquis. A stretch in wheelbase, it's a Lincoln Town Car. Stripped, it's the cop car from hell;-)
i love fords but this car is ugly

Hopefully, Allen Mullaly is listening, but I wonder. They've already demoted the Crown Vic to fleet-only duty, and the Town Car is on the bubble.

If produced in the US,Asia, Europe, and Austrailia, you're looking at $15,000 to $17,000.
