  • I love his presentation style - I hate it when people try and cram too much onto presentation slides, it's much more effective to have something minimal like this that focuses the audience and makes them listen to the speaker.

  • macbook pro is way beter den dis piece of shit!

  • Legendary key note

  • RIP Steve Jobs

  • This is clearly Sony Vaio X505 rip off. They copied X505 side profile, chick let keyboard and everything else. Why they are comparing macbook air to TZ?

  • steve jobs promotes notebook anorexia

  • Damn this seems thick up next to the NEW macbook air.

  • Well now Apple has a 11 inch Macbook Air. :)

  • I got a MacBook air, iPod touch 4g, iPhone 4g and a iPad 3G

  • Steve Jobs = Genius

  • hows it full sized, it doesn't have a numeric keyboard

  • @SodhiFamily100 Mac-keyboard never have.

Apple is great about improving on thing you DONT need.

  • steve jobs loves THIN

  • You are unable to afford macbook? There is giveaway at macbook7 . com You can get one NOW

    I like it

  • Do people really care about how thin a notebook is? really...

  • actually it isnt the thinnest. but the thinnest one was discontinued when macbook air arrived so steve is right and wrong. :)

  • 00.17 *subtitle*

the best notebooks on the planet, MackBook <--- what?!

  • 8:25 thats what she said

  • Go Mac!

  • This was actually a really clever marketing ploy. Remember how much coverage this got in 2008? Apple knew it wouldn't sell like their other notebooks, but they knew that people would want it. So people associated the Macbook Air with Apples other laptops and ended up buying those in huge numbers. It was seriously clever.

  • hahaha

    best but not affordable

  • ur making ur products fell unwanted

  • Hahaha "Apple make the best notebooks on the planet" Can´t stop laughing! The only thing, that Apple makes is to sell the customers overpriced crap, packed into a shiny well designed cover. Dell and IBM are for Professionals, who know to use a Workstation/Notebook!

  • So people will buy this just to see if it fits I a envelope.

  • The subtitles are there for people who can't speak English but can read it? Why are they there? And it's not like Steve Jobs is difficult to understand: he speaks very very clearly.

  • wat about for the deaf?

  • its feat. not feed

  • That was funny when he showed the Envolope or how u spell it

  • haha. its funny how you can sense the joint machead orgasms that have soaked all the seats in the room...eww....

  • youd think with how compact, and small, because of all the things they took out of it, it would be cheaper! its the second most expensive thing they have at around $1500 next to the mac pro.

  • what about macbook ($1k) or mac mini ($600)

  • those cost less than the macbook air

  • what about the macbook pro, there are different models, most costing > 1500, and it goes mac mini, imac, mac pro for desktops, and macbook, macbook air, macbook pro for laptops (low to high prestige and power.)

  • yea, but some of those can be more than the macbook air because it comes with more stuff than it. they should reprice it to atleast the price of the mac mini.

  • do you know how hard it is to fit that in there

  • It's target is for who wants a small, light computer to go and don't need a disk burner. So I'd say it's like a Netbook but with a full size screen and processor and keybord. It's like a cross between a Netbook and a full complete labtop with disk burner..

  • The thing is though, most people that really need an ultra portable computer, do not what one with more than a 12 inch display. Thickness is somewhat important, but it is not what makes a computer hard to carry, its the actual size of it.

  • The innovative design with the MacBook Air was impressive. However there is not a huge benefit to having a super thin notebook right now. The product has a 'cool factor' sell point and less practical solution like Apples other products. "I have an idea, lets create the thinnest notebook". Ok it's done we have a thin notebook. But Apple fans were expecting something different and were not that excited to see this at the keynote. The more failures you have, the more successful you will be.

  • i mean this is a gorgeous laptop, but why the audience behaved like idiots.

  • they kind of reminded me of the audiences bush would hand-pick for his state of the union addresses or whatever. yea, definately a bunch of apple fan-boys (and girls) lol

  • you are making my macbook pro feel fat

  • dont worry the macbook air is not good and is not cheap i prefer the macbook pro

  • @7h3ki113r666 Look on the bright side. Our macbook pro is faster
