Sound quality of a recorded mellophone on a video camera tends not to be very good. I play mellophone and had a solo in our school's Phantom of the Opera show (FYI-it was in Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again) and no matter what I did, no matter how loud I played, it always sounded off on a recording.
We're still getting hints, but I believe we're doing this next year as well.

We're doing this show next year for marching band and I play the mellophone, so I should be counting on a solo next year.
Hopefully.
But, to be honest, this mellophone player wasn't very good at playing. : /

i take that back, after watching it again, the band was alright but you had some trouble spots here and there, but still, color guard was on point!
