WARNING from a JKA life member: Years with the JKA (Japan and America) revealed contradictions that caused me to study original karate (beginning, what it is, why developed, how taught, general syllabus). The JKA practices a sport and it has eliminated much of original karate. As such it is not a martial art and is not karate at all. For the discerning and the objective; if you really want to learn of karate, Okinawa is the source. Find a teacher of PROVABLE lineage, it is fascinating.
I think they should put Lucio Maurino against Floyd Mayweather Jr. to see what happens, it's either this karate stuff actually works or Maurino will get knocked out in 5 seconds or so.
