The only places I've seen them so far are on eBay, going for 500-700 US, depending on version. The M912x and M912v are the same hardware, one with XP, other with Vista, on the high end (160GB HD, 1280x768) . The M912m has a 80GB hard drive and weaker video (1024x600) All 3 are 1.6Ghz Atoms with 1GB Ram (upgradable to 2Gb).

When you touch the screen and its slow, thats a turn off !! The mod eee pc with touch screen is way faster.

if your looking for a fullblown tablet then spend the $1000+ dollars but at $600 you cant expect perfection. also ya the eee pc mod might be faster but unless your willing to possibly break your eee pc it seems pointless specially since the eee900 series is about the same price as the gigabyte.

just sold my advent 4211 as i need a tablet lookig at the HP Pavillion 2500z, Fujistu P1610, Flybook v5 and Gigabyte m912v think the gigabyte should be £335.00 inc vat then it would be a killer device but at close to £400.00 import its too expensive i can get the HP2500z £540.00 all round better device

The transparent keyboard seems to be a piece of freeware called inscribe by illiumsoft. I just installed and am trying it out on my U810. Looks good!

The processor is the best performing processor available in netbooks today. Only other choices are the Celeron-M and the C7-M. Everything else is too expensive, too hot, or too power hungry.
