To much shooting. In the books sam used his gun as a last resort. Most of the time he wouldn't even bother killing anyone unless he absolutely had to. This is just rainbow six with a stealth emphasis. Guess the good old days of splinter cell1 and chaos theory are over.

@aleksandrhall You don't need to use your gun as often as these previews show. You can complete stealth the game. Plus the books were based on the game. So the game doesn't need to be the same as the book.

The first thing you do in the demo is kill 3 npcs. Good try. If the conviction was based on the book it would actually be a good game.

@aleksandrhall How are you saying that it isn't a good game when you haven't played it? I know we all have our opinions but seriously rent it when it comes out and then decide. There is stealth. In the demo the killing is a tutorial then you don't need to kill another.

Because I'm not so simple minded that I love every game I pick up. I know my taste in video games quit thoroughly thank you very much. No one said you had to agree with me. I've already decided I don't like, and I'm not going to support the developers that have (for me) ruined one of my favorite series by buying it, and encouraging the deviation from the original formula. I'll give it a go when its at gamespot for $10, I can wait.

I think the best part about it is that it's most fun to play stealthy cause you really feel like a predator and you can do it fast and silently like your freakin Jason bourne or something. I also love the tons of different options you have in killing your targets. That one short demo has had me hooked for days and I'm still finding new ways to play things out.

have you tried the demo? Before I had played it, i thought it would be nothing like it, but after playing the demo I was actually surprised at by how similar the game was to the old ones. It IS different, but you still play it like it was one of the old titles.

Now go to pandora tommorow, or chaos theory and tell me where u can complete 100% stealth.

The former is impossible, the latter quite easy.

@ItsTurningGreen002 I would disagree with you on the co-op front. The single player campaign is classic splinter cell, but the co-op is something else entirely.

To be honest, I just wish the co-op campaign was longer because I've never played anything like it.

I have to disagree, he uses stealth in a tactical flanking way because people searching in the last known position. HE IS NOT rambo, he disappears then strikes, these games are known for their difficulty so going head on will be tougher, and in the long run impossible.
