by 2050; 40 years from now Vancouver real estate will be double look at hot spot and trends like hong kong or china or Europe. 1 Bedroom in those foreign contries are over 1million. As a Realtor i believe were going into a entire new phaze and big changes will happen. Did you take Geography? Vancouver is on the WEST COAST. It was never easy and now its going to get worst. The rich get richer. WHO ARE YOU THESE ANALYST? BS!

I subscribe to the International Forecaster. Bob Chapman knows what he is talking about and I have the highest respect for him. Beautiful British Columbia isn't going to look so beautiful in the not so distant future and as a resident, I feel sorry especially for a lot of close people I know in my local community that bought into the propaganda.

WE DON"T HAVE TO LEAVE OUR HOMES OR TRY TO SELL! Our homes are our first line of defense and change. If we all, or even 20% of us, put 250BOYCOTT signs in our windows and on our doors we can declare our homes holy ground and claim sanctuary in them. It's impossible to control us if you can't round us up and by permanently BANNING rent/motgage on our homes worldwide. we totally take back our power & establish our sovereignty as humans. We have to STOP ENABLING the MONOPOLY GAME! 250BOYCOTT NOW!

@professormaxtrinity well MAYBE that could work in the USA, but I highly doubt it would know it won't work in Canada as we are too dispersed and most are willing to stand up for others, so it's easy to fall through the holes and loose your home

here in Canada we are facing lay-offs and major drop in the price of real-estate,hence I preach selling now and loading up on PM's and buying after 2012-2013 when things become more stable..if that's possible after this crash as I believe 2012 will b big!

@connectingdots1 The 250BOYCOTT is not about markets crashing or climbing. It's about a shift in the basic idealogoy of what a human home really is. It's a signpost of an opportunity afforded by social networking & unprecedented human connection. There is only a possibility of real human stability & correlating security if we REMOVE the constant threat of eviction & homelesness from the human psyche. If the 250BOYCOTT succeeds in th U.S. it'll spread You do good work CD, it's much appreciated.

I just gave up trying to buy a home in CA. It's soooooooooooooooo expensive. I WISH prices would come down. Afraid of getting "stuck" with overvalued house. Now will consider buying raw land instead.
