Played darkfall since early beta and early relase (just like beta, but we had to pay for it while they ironed out bugs.)
Game had tons of issues such as naked gankers, macro programs being legalised by the devs and some of the worst skill grinding I have ever experienced. PvP is good, but in a classless system, anyone worth their salt all play the same 2/3 cookie cutters, polearms are overpowered and 1h weapons/dual weild uselss.
@penal420 either your trolling or INSANELY stupid, theres about a thousand times more content in ALL other games, plus better graphics, movement and other, that game is poorly made and rigid, its not fun, and if you want a realistic game go grit some rocks at your friends, thats realistic for you! if you have any friends that is.
@prump1 Heh, try watching a new darkfall pvp video, graphics are pretty good, to be honest , if they were much better most people wouldn't be able to run the game. Darkfall is THE best PvP game.
dont hate guys, for an indie team this game is pretty amazing... the graphics are decent, but the ART is excellent... if wow taught us anything, it is that ART quality is more important than graphics tech (see EQ2)

Darkfall is a good game imo but the comparison to Ultima online is way off.
UO had way more content even pre tram.
Treasure hunting awesome taming , awesome player housing. DF needs to take some of the UO things and put them in the game.
Rare items to display in your home better clothing ect.
I cant say its better or worse then other mmos as you can not compare this to a game like wow Wow is all pve based with pvp as a hobbie.
In DF pvp is the way of life this game is nothing without PVP

the style is more realistic than fluffy, but actually the graphics can be extremely better, with shadows and most things turned up to max.
problem is that takes your fps from 150 to 10 :)
