I myself an a rabid Genshiken fan, and even though they didn't make it exactly the same..I believe they did a good job.
Hell, I'm happy as long as Renko-sama has a lead part ^-^

It's actually not that bad...don't hate on it because it's different then what they watched in Genshiken.
In fact, I'd say I enjoyed it.
