I strongly dislike the lds church and everything it stands for. My mother left this "church" in the 1960s and went to Holland. I met my LDS grandparents 6 times in my life. They are in their late 80s now.Although they are very decent nice people their only mission was to convert their only grandson (me) to this terrible religion. They could not accept the plain fact that I did not want to convert to this crap! They were so dissappointed.But I have respect for their moral standards!
i'm sorry you feel so bitter toward the church, but just know the reason your grandparents were so driven to your conversion was because they loved you and wanted you to have the same joys and blessings that the church has brought into their lives. i am sorry if you can't see it that way. but i can promise you, this is the truth :]
the church is really a very spiritual place, and i think your grandparents just wanted you to feel the spirit. when i go to church every Sunday and i am sad or disapointed i just listen to the music and it cheers me up! your grandparents wanted you to feel that spirit. i can garantee the this is the true church
