It sounds like you have an electronic Fuel Pump So just disconect it and try starting it. that happened in my 401 Then we found out the electionic Pump was flooding the carb. try that and reply f that works. In the mean time you should watch my Waggy vid :)
I might try that this weekend. Weather's supposed to be nice, but since I'm getting rid of this Jeep soon anyhow, I might not find the motivation to make the vid.
Might have to make another video of it starting bad. It seems to be idling quite high, even for warm up. Also, make one of it driving, I'd like to hear the hesitation, maybe we can figure this thing out.

I can tell by the way it sounds, It is definitely running rich....The timing sounds a bit advanced too
