  • I played this at a concert today in my school - exhilarating stuff. although with a cornet, not a tiny trombone or whatever that thing is.

  • what type of euphonium is that one

  • @MrDriftking632 - Besson Prestige with a Kelly 5G....

  • @orichalcum1

its a very nice model i have a sterling

  • @MrDriftking632 My Sterling is terrible, so I bought a conn instead :3

  • very good i also play the euphonium

  • I much rather see a french horn in the mix than a trumpet!

  • @calum6371 - it's an interesting thought Callum... haven't ever seen James Morrison playing the French Horn.... but I bet he'd be amazing at that too!!!

  • I think the mastery you of all the brass instruments is amazing! I played for french horn for 7 years, got to grade 7 but never really enjoyed it. So I started piano instead, please check out my version of this piece :)

  • have you always played the trombone as well - since a kid i mean?

  • @4sophia8 - Hi Sophia.... interesting question. the answer is no.... I took up the trombone in 2003 (when I was mid 30s)... took up it up because I had a student that wouldn't/couldn't learn her scales... secretly the trombone is my favourite brass instrument - wish I could play it better! thanks for the question.... Jim

  • Jimmy the Lip is a gem. Forget all this dead composers stuff, I use him for all my contemporary sessions by artists like Otis Redding, John Lennon and Jimi Hendrix

  • Awesome! I like how OOPS shows up on the screen towards the end on euphonium. Kind of shows us that you too are human!

  • @Troiano220 - Thanks for that.... It was unfortunate to split the G - but the higher stuff and lip trill were quite good after that so we had to let the split go.... after all it is art and not science. Happy Tooting!

  • @orichalcum1: Loved it though. Gotta go practice my euphonium now

  • With lips and fingers like that it's no wonder you're a hit with the ladies!

    A truly virtuoso performance.
