BA Baracus and Howlin Murdoch is still yet to be casted, but rumor is that Rapper Common(Terminator Salvation) is Locked on for the role of "Bad Atitude". Woody Harrelson(The Messenger) would make a GREAT Murdoch in my opinion. The official Director of this Movie will be Joe Carnahan(Smokin Ace's) and it will be produced by Ridley and Tom Scott.

I dunno if this story line will work. It nothing like the origanal in any way. I know that in order for the new A Team to work it needs updating, a few changes made and made fresh and new but this is too far. But good choices on the

cast and a good idea. But the idea is not suted to da a team.

If you want to turn an A-Team movie into disposable trash, a la Daredevil, sure, you can go with most of those choices.

However, if you want a "dream" cast, to turn it into a rockin' blockbuster, and maybe even a franchise *with legs*, the cast should be more like the following:

HANNIBAL=Denzel Washington. Simply put, Denzel, like George Peppard, is a real man's man. Clooney doesnt come off like that all-which guy is more believeable as an ex special forces soldier?. Denzel would really capture that character's spirit.

BA BARACUS= tough call. But former WWE wrestler "Stone Cold" Steve Austin takes it for me. He has that cool tough guy look while still being likeable. Similar to Mr. T but with a whole different look (not just because he's white)

Maybe not to the extent that Clooney could, but he's a fantastic actor and could pull it off. Besides, I think the silliness was a minor part of the Hannibal character. Leadership and guts was Hannibal's #1 trait, which is why I'd hate to see Clooney get that role.

BTW, face's car would have to be a white 2009Corvette ZR-1 (not that yellow thing).

You can never replace the A Team! They were literally those four guys, who escaped Vietnam. You can't simply re-create a new cast, in a new situation with the same names and characteristics! It's outrageous!

Understood. The TV show was great and it will be hard to replace the original A Team, but Hollywood is gonna do it.

So how can you make the best of a situation that you don't want to see happen? Would you recast the original TV cast? Or hire new faces? How should it be updated, especially since it will be?

good point on both counts. but using guns in a movie is too easy and not creative (usually). even if they decided to use guns, is there no ammo in it? is it too noisy so they can't use it. basically, be creative, the way "the Bourne" movies are in their action sequences. or even "the untouchables" with sean connery and kevin costner.
