I doubt that. If it were just an illusion, the Killer Bee would've noticed it from the close-ranged combat because there would be no solid collision. And I highly doubt Sasuke would have enough energy to use a solid Shadow Clone with Chidori.

Come to think of it, why isn't he using Chidori Nagashi? Is he saving it for later or did he forget it?

You seem to have forgotten the long Genjutsu fight that Itachi and Sasuke had. He used all kinds of Chidori during that. This is most likely a Genjutsu, Sasuke is too adept at hand to hand combat to be taken out like this. Plus Sasuke automatically has the advantage against tailed beasts and Jinchuuriki's because of his Sharingan.

Sasuke is trying to use akatsuki to destroy Konoha, because Konoha used Itachi to destroy the Uchiha Clan. So sasuke is trying to avenge his brother for being placed into that situation.
