  • Unlike a lot of American Teenagers nowadays who don't care, I think that what happened in Tunisia was great. It'll be a great thing to read about in the history books when I see it. I think if any historian dares to overlook Tunisia when referring to the Arab Spring should really re-think that. Mohamed Bouazizi started something that very few alone can accomplish in a lifetime.

  • I hope that outside the Arab world, next it will be Greece and Portugal, rid from the Euro-dictatorship of Brussels!.... Greece is very close, almost 1/2 of the Portuguese people are already openly supporting to get rid of this ongoing Euro-dictatorship. I've been in Greece and in Turkey, and I can assure you all... fortunately that Turkey is not in the EU!... Turkey is a country with its own currency, sovereingnty, democracy and pride! I hope that Greece and Portugal also can recover them back!

  • I hope that the outcome in other Arab countries will be like in Tunisia... Congratulations for being the newest democracy in the world! But I'm afraid that in Egypt and/or Libya, people will vote in a 1992 Algerian way, supporting hardline islamists who are not actually so much democratic (I aknowledge that Nahda in Tunisia, as the AKP in Turkey are actual democratic parties, whatever Israel says what they are). And I would also like that Israel/Palestine became an actual democracy.. USA doesn't

  • we should help them

Et ça me preoccupe.

  • freedom for tunisians god bless you all .......miss my husband stay strong xx

  • What now? did they replace a dictator for another dictator? and seeing tunisians are heading up all to italy its no good :(

  • @scoot24925 We are preparing a second popular movement, one revolution is not enough to get rid from a dictatorship once for all, future elections will be held in few months.

  • The two watchers who didn't like the video are certainly Ben Ali and Leila Trabelsi !!

  • "IN TUNISIA AND IN BURMA THE DEATHS OF TWO YOUNG MEN WERE THE MIRRORS THAT MADE PEOPLE SEE HOW UNBEARABLE WERE THE BURDENS OF INJUSTICE AND OPPRESSION THEY HAD TO ENDURE"

  • WARNING

LYBIA, EGYPT, TUNISIA, SYRIA, YEMEN, BAHRAIN, MOROCCO, ALGERIA, JORDON and KUWAIT. All these Islamic countries that are throwing down the present dictators crying for democracy will end up bringing in Islamic DICTATORS ruled by Islamic law where human rights will be CRUSHED. THE HORRORS IS JUST BEGINNING. There will be NO DEMOCRACY in these countries. These are GAMES MUSLIMS PLAY to the world. I FEEL SORRY FOR ALL MANKIND

  • @mohtheshmoo first of all, it is non of the world business what kind of government we want asshole!! we worked for it and we will choose what the majority wants whether you like it or not. Deal with it or get over it!!

  • @MrNissrenshredi Isn't it beautiful to see all those islamic mind controlled countries of people that are in turmoil all the time with KILLINGS,BURTALITES to others, UNREST, DESTRUCTION of everything around them. The only thing that there is plenty of is SAND & that is all these Islamic countries can have. Nothing good will grow in these countries because you turned your backs on GOD & worship a SATANIC GOD.

I am sorry for you people as there will never be peace in countries ruled by SATAN.

  • @mohtheshmoo talk about yourslef :)

  • @mohtheshmoo Go Fuck yourself!

  • Being secular is not a Westerner model. All over the world there are people who are againt the combination of politics and religion. Tunisian people are mostly secular. Tunisia is neither Saudi Arabia nor Iran. Islamists are a minority. The country is already secular, and it will stay as such. It is not a matter of political model. People just fed up the tyranny, corruption of the Ben Ali regim. Even the westerner companies investing in Tunisia fed up the corruption of Ben Ali and his family.

  • @me1sbx XD then you don't Tunisia

  • It is because of you Tunisians my country is now free.

    Egyptians are forever in debt.

  • @lewdi333

You may think the U.S. is free. It is not.

  • @lumpagogo Huh? Why are you bringing up the U.S.?

  • @lewdi333

    It's a free country.

  • @lumpagogo are you fucking high bro?

  • thanks for the tunisian revolution that changed the world , they proved to the hole world that the change come from inside & not from outside & a thank to the egyptians too & we hope that peace will rule the entier world

    Vladimr from serbia

  • when they say 'freedom' for the arab world what does it mean? does it mean freedom from the current regimes and installing new regimes that shall implement Islam since Islam is the identity of most arabs and the arab world? Or is it about installing new regimes that shall implement the western model, the unIslamic life style and world view in the form and of a Man made Democracy i.e no Shariah, seperation of Mosque and state. Is this the freedom being strived for? Please tell me.

  • they call me freedom just like a waven flag

  • Thank you Tunis, Thank you Tunis, Thank you a million times.

    Egyptian.

  • We were lost and forgotten for many decades

    We were rediscovered in Tunisia

    We gained momentum in Egypt

    We fought madness in Libya

We marched on in Bahrain and Yemen

We will continue until we return home:

    Palestine

    We are Justice and Liberty

Mazen Fahmi (inspired by another text found on facebook)

  • @questiondujour + 100 on that Will copy and paste it everywhere :P

  • Tunisia: Please, settle for nothing less than a government designed to "define, proclaim and fulfill the true will of the Tunisian People." Then you will have become the birthplace of real democracy (not western demockery) and the shining example for the world to follow. For then, Tunisia will quickly become a land of equality, peace, justice and prosperity, because that's what the Tunisian People will vote for and support. May good fortune shine brightly on Tunisia forever. From Texas.

  • This is The begining of the Arabs revolution

Started out in Tunisia .. spread out to the world by Egypt .. Continuing in Algeria and Yamen ! God bless u Tunisian and Algerian people !!! i cant believe we were fighting for fuckin football !!!

regard from a proud Egyptian !!

  • Yeah thanks Tunisia!!!! "Egyptian"

  • Thank you Tunisia for inspiring us Egyptians to revolute!!!

  • This is a blessed day, Egypt has put Moubarak out, the Tunisian Revolution is a huge Inspiration and an incredible source of Hope for the other oppressed Arab People, HUGE RESPECT, MAY YOU BUILD A REAL DEMOCRACY, NOW WE ALGERIANS ARE HOPING TO LET BOUTEFLIKA SPEND THE REST OF HIS LIFE WITH BEN ALI AND MOUBARAK !!!!

    SALAM 3LAIKUM !!!!

  • @mystmoorth I'd be careful about Algeria. Maybe you don't remember what happened in the last time Algeria had actually free elections: Algerians voted for an extremist party that supported the violence carried by fundamentalists who killed 100s of thousands of ppl in Algeria and about half of them had elected their killers. But I completely support these democratic revolutions, given that the purpose is for real democracy, not replacing one dictatorship with terrorists or another dictatorship.

  • @nmgscp can you tell me more, which party did the Algerians elect? and also, how did this party indentify themself, I mean the source of their ideology.

  • @MatrixOfDynamism They elected the FIS, which I thought it was related to GIA (the terrorist group) but whose relations with GIA I searched, and I have to concede that FIS actually fought the GIA. Anyway, the aim of FIS was not to establish a democratic state in Algeria but rather an extremist islamic regime. So, there would mean that fair elections after a FIS win would be as or least likely that during the military government that followed the coup in Algeria.

  • @mystmoorth when they say 'freedom' for the arab world what does it mean? does it mean freedom from the current regimes and installing new regimes that shall implement Islam since Islam is the identity of most arabs and the arab world? Or is it about installing new regimes that shall implement the western model, the unIslamic life style and world view in the form and of a Man made Democracy i.e no Shariah, seperation of Mosque and state. Is this the freedom being strived for? Please tell me.

  • @MatrixOfDynamism look, even occidental way of life is non-christian, because the rules of the Bible are not applied to the letter, and that is the natural compromise that any young muslim living today wishes to live. Freedom of speech, of thought, of religion, these are the values Arabs are fighting for at the risk of their lives as we speak, the spark came from the arab youth, via Facebook in Tunisia, there is a huge willing of modernisation, they won't replace a tyran by another one.

  • As an american i support all you are doing to inspire people to overthrow the evil leadership of our countries. I beleive is human equality and that people have a voice. Say it loud and proud. i support you.

  • that's it! we Arabs are sick of these dictators imposed and supported by the west!

    we want real democracy!

    تحيا الشعوب وتسقط الأنظمة المستبدة.

  • Thank you Tunisia and thank you Muhamad you are our Martir , Egypt, Marocc , Algeria , Yemen, Saudi Arabi , Oman , Siria , Libia , always you will be alive in our memory . Tunisian people thank you again, you gave the start to a blessing revolution in the arab world and the change will come soon.

  • I am sure 100% that behind this revolution is Iran who wants to delay the war to complete its own nuclear programme. We are not stupid to fall into Iran evil plans

  • @nissrenshredi

behind the revolution is tunisian poeple... they fight for dignity and freedom not for iran

  • @nissrenshredi you obviously do not know Tunisia or its people. This was a revolution from the heart of a wonderful county oppressed for far too long. Stand strong people of Tunisia you must not be forgotten. God bless all the brave people who lost their lives. And god bless Tunisia. Remember POWER TO THE PEOPLE.

  • I pray for Freedom for the people of Tunisia!!!!!

  • I support this revolution to a 100% Because if the government doesnt fit the people then whats the point of letting them be in powerthen?;)

  • Thanks to all Tunisian people for being united in the demolition of evil.My salute to this GREAT human being we ll remember as Sidi Bouzid.I wish that your country achieves peace soon.

  • NOTE TO WEST: This was NOT an Islamic uprising, but a coalition by the people. So take your monolithic stereo-type of the Arab world, and shove it.

  • @OneProvidence i'm from the west and i do support this uprising ! our goverments don't but fuck them! most westerns do support it and make us want to do it as well!

    greetings and peace!

  • @josapology I understand. It is the western governments that support dictatorships, not the western people.

Unfortunately, the western people don't have any say in governmental affairs in their own countries. Look at the UK for example; police beat student protestors.

  • @OneProvidence you're right! the youth around the world must stand up and fight against all this corrupt people! but we can not let anything tear us apart! no religion, no race,no culture!

let's do this for our future generations!

  • Dear Tunisian people, you have to be proud to have started this new world democracy movement. I'm writing from Italy, I'm Italian, and I'm observing your Country and its fantastic young population as a brilliant star. In Italy we need your bravery. Most of us are waiting for the european help to free Italy from Berlusconi's narco-pedo-mafia regime. We will try to be brave like you. THANK YOU TUNISIA.

  • perfect song!! Forge the world cup, this song fits every revolution in the world!! Allah m3akoum my brothers!! Love from Morocco/Netherlands!!

  • go tunisia go

  • revolution my comrades

  • Fuckin Chinese government, fuckin communist party. It is the time

  • @vSinbad WTF has this got 2 do with the Chinese government u retard? oh yeah and FUCK YOUR MOM!

  • The comments on the video "Tunisia people's revolt 2011: in the ashes of a dictator, people call for Islam and khilafah " are being removed.

    democracy for the tunisian people.

    religion and politics don't mix.

  • Only technology can solve the root of the problem, food shortages. Populations keep growing, people need to eat, humans are ravenous animals, it's impossible to meet demand with our current methods. Norman Borlaug predicted this decades ago, changes in lifestyle and distribution systems are important but technology will one day be a deciding factor in which nations flourish and which nations fall into anarchy.

  • Long Live Tunisia

  • Allahu Akbar! To our Tunisian brothers and sisters, to those with courage and bravery to bring back again their strength against occupation and tyranny....May God be with You! You have made history once again and the change you begun hopefully will ripple around the Arab country and entire world.

    Barakah Allahu feekum.

    Viva la Revolucion

  • long live the tunisian revolution !

    IRAN

  • The Tunisian dictatorship has been smashed! Hopefully Mubarak and other dictators are next.

    Revolution is in the air!

  • This is part of a wider battle of the super rich trying to keep the working classes down. Don't listen to the their propaganda, you should all be very proud of yourself! Men and women, young and old, black and white, wherever your from, ITS TIME TO UNITE!!!!

  • Well done Tunisia! Im very happy for you. Ben Ali and Trabelsi family deserve prison sentence and to hand over all the assets they have stolen from Tunisian people. Peace from Estonia!

  • Just one month ago, former President Zine el-Abdine Ben Ali and his clan luxuriated in the kind of outrageous fortune that only two decades of U.S.-backed, kleptocratic rule can buy: beachfront villas, pet tigers, ice cream flown in from St. Tropez. Now they can't even keep their rooms at Euro Disney.

  • I hope this will cause a ripple effect!!! Morocco, Algeria, Lybia, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Iran all of them should stand up!!!!! Freedom!!!!!

  • Algeria will be next!!!!! your friend from La Marsa

  • As we say here in Portugal: "25 de Abril sempre" - 25th of April always (forever). In Tunisia 14th of January: 14 Janvier toujours! Long live democracy and democratic socialism!

  • Go Go Tunisia brother from Ethiopia

  • these happy videos are a little bit early, what is happening inside of Tunisia now?

  • @ragenFOX it's OK now

  • Ask your friends around the world to watch this video. The goal will be to reach 10 million views. One for each tunisian

  • viva tunisa from ur Algerian brother :)

Tuinia : weapons : rocks __ Deaths :60 deaths only __Time : less than a month

Iraq: American forces - m4-airplanes-helicopters-....__ Deaths: 1.5 million ___ Time : 8 years and still going

  • From Syria, I send all my salutations to the Tunisian people, I bow for your bravery, and my eyes are full of happiness tears for what you accomplished, YOU ARE ALL HEROES!

  • "those that make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable" - John F. Kennedy ....so ture so true....I am from La Marsa and am so proud of Tunisia i wore a flag on my bag all day at school today...sad thing that still no one had knew why i was wearing it...

  • EGYPT NEXT, GOD HELP US

  • Good job Ramsey, However it's good to mention that 1 picture is not part of the peolple's revolution: Boys with black leather jackets in a white car. In fact, it's part of the theatre of Ben Ali's Police. They are policemen supporting Ben Ali after his last spitch, which actually was not live, At that precise time Ben Ali was already out of the country.

  • <3 Manifique

  • im tunisian i represent we kiked the government assssssss hhhhhhhhh

    look at 2:21-2:23

  • We all honest people are with you. Take your rights. Let's chase away all the killers of Democracy and Liberty (as Berlusconi here in Italy).

    Long life free Tunisia! Libertas!

    Greetings from Italy!

  • World History is a reflection of the actions, thoughts & words of Human Beings.

  • The power of the people, brave, and pure. I love you, Tunisia. From Thailand

  • "Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up, and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better. This is a most valuable - a most sacred right - a right, which we hope and believe, is to liberate the world."

    Abraham Lincoln

  • No Mainstream Media! This is the PEOPLE of Tunisia rising against Tyranny! We won't fall for your lies that fake Al Qaeda are the cause. The people of Tunisia are setting an example to the rest of the world! We know who the real extremists are, we have seen through all the tricks of Mossad, MI6 and CIA. All the decent, hard-working people of the world need to rise up against the banksters and their puppet politicians. We will not be divided! Vive la Tunisie libre!

  • GOD BLESS TUNISIA AND THE PEOPLE OF TUNISIA MAY WE LIVE FOR FREE FOREVER AND HAIL THE GLORIOUS DEAD!!!! FUCK ALL THE ARAB DICTATORS YOU WILL ALL BURN IN HELL! FREEDOM FOR ALL ARABS!

  • Tunisians , GET UP, STAND UP DONT GIVE UP THE FIGHT !!!!!!!!!!! LOVE TO THE BRAVE TUNISIANS !!!!!!

  • kick all the arab dictators out!

  • God bless those who fight for their freedom. We did the same 20 years ago.

    Cheers from Romania!

  • Well done my Tunisian Muslim brothers Freedom is infront of you, Inshallah my dear country Libya can follow your example.

  • CONGRATULATIONS to the brave & proud people of Tunisia. Politics, greed & religious dogmas far removed from their true essence ought to be abolished for good! Our planet will be so much better off without ALL of them. All they ever achieve is dividing families, countries & the people of the entire world, by instilling unnecessary fear, granting a few people abundant wealth & opportunities, & distancing each soul farther & farther away from ALL OF OUR VERY SAME, ONE & ONLY GOD aka ALLAH.

    Durban

  • So cool!.. : ) Thanks for this video!!!

  • Tunisian, and proud to be....Guys I'm so proud of you...now we need to rebuild our country, hand in hand all together....we are such brave hearts!!!

no more forgotten cities, no more dictators that steal and rub and kill..no more lies

    WE AIN't NO FOOLS

    Long Live Tunisia!!!

  • I'm proud of my country ! We r free ! No more dictators in our country ! Freedom ! Freedom !

  • Ramsey 1200: We Tunisians, all know that, those forgotten cities-Kasserine, Sidi Bouzid, Gafsa, were always the leaders, when it comes to fighting french occupation, unemployment, and tyranny. It's a new start, it's a new day and there is a huge debt to pay back from now on. You just changed the face of the Arab World, bringing freedom and democracy. You changed the face of the entire World.

    Thank you

  • @jihedc2007 Fogotten cities? Kasserine? Everyone in my country knows Kasserine as it is associated with the bravery of Orlando Ward. Ward protected the city. His superiors Kenneth Anderson and Lloyd Fredendall were thought by Ward to be incompetant, as they scattered forces, thus weakening his troops. The Americans lost 6500 men there out of a total of 10000 allies killed.

  • @SugarTomAppleRoger By forgotten cities, I meant forgotten by the Tunisian Government. My apology Sugar, I didn't forget those braves who fought for world freedom. I am sure that your brothers who fought there knew more about Kasserine than the former dictator-president of Tunisia. As a matter of fact he paid only 2-3 visits to the region during his 23 years. Thank you for reminding the world about the history of Kasserine.

  • @libererlesmedias The film "Patton" shows a lot of the WW2 fighting in Tunisia.

We New Zealanders, as the New Zealand Corps also fought large battles in Tunisia, including the Takrouna and Tebaga Gap battles, which eventually caused the encirclement of the Italians there plus the German "Afrika Korps" unit.

Men from both the US and NZ have the highest regards for the history and fighting skills, including horsemenship of the Tunisian people.

  • @jihedc2007 WELL SAID.

  • Without violence, with jasmine and with the power of our people. We have opened the door for democracy, freedom and dignity to the Arab World, to Africa and to the entire world.

  • @jihedc2007 stop it with all your jasmin crap , more than a hundred died and hundreds others were wounded imprisoned , i suppose you're one of those living in the rich suburbs , that hasn't heard of the revolution until the 14 of January, still thinking that the people made a flash-mob in the middle of the capital , and that's how we got freedom ... wake up

  • @eks812 Ta betise n'a d'egale que ta connerie. Looks to me that you belong to the past

  • @libererlesmedias الثورة يصنعها العلماء ويفجرها الابطال ويستغلها الإنتهازيـون ... لم يكن من سماها بثورة الياسمين من العلماء ولا من الابطال ...

  • @jihedc2007

the only door you guys open is the door for the American to get inside

  • viva la Peace & Freedom

  • Hope Tunisia will be free soon, and hope the president will pay for he's crimes. Romania is with you! Good bless you all and especially those who died for freedom!

  • superbe
