I saw him in Oslo. The audience was all dead.. I wanted to scream out a title, or at least sing along, but I was stoned and drunk out of my head, and two cops were standing next to my seat... Seriously, they were totally dead.. And the high kind of ruined the experience too, believe it or not. Next time I'll be sober! Yeah, I know that the lyrics are about coke, but I feel it's just as much about humans being insensitive towards each other... you find this a lot, especially in coke places

I obviously knew Nick and the band from Red Right Hand and Scream.

When I saw them perform live on TV for the first time (I was watching that night - I think Alistair McGowan presented them), which was here, I thought, 'what a cool band'. and they are: 'The Bad Seeds' ,awesome.

I think that is a misinterpretation. I believe the fifteen feet of pure white snow represents a secular culture that is smothering the spiritual. The Biblical figures he references are ill equipped to deal with this new culture and their relevance is disappearing. The result is spiritual isolation in a cold, secular world which breeds depression and madness.

I have seen a lot of live shows (and posted vids from a few including some of his) I do have to say the show in 2008 at the Troxy in London was amazing.. He entertained and entranced the whole place. Fantastic go see him if you get the chance
