Sadly, we had to put Dali down last night. Medicated for canine epilepsy for more than a year, with limited success, his worst behavior was an insatiable appetite for anything toxic. Yesterday, he ate plastic spoons with chocolate on them, poisoning himself with brittle plastic and chocolate. We've pumped his stomach before in an emergency, so this time we felt it was best to put him down. He was a loving and playful companion that shared many miles with me on the road, so he will be missed.

I have known many dogs with pitbull in them. They have all been great dogs. Very loving and affectionate. We would play with them in the street when we were kids. Back then dogs roamed around the neighbourhoods. Never had a problem with them.

You can't train/sociolize out 150 years of selective breeding for dog fighting.
I did dog rescue, and I rescued pits. I had dogs attack other dogs when I did rescue. Not ONE of my pit bulls EVER started a fight, and IF they were involved, they NEVER fought back.
American Pit Bull Terriers were bred for being all around family/farm dogs. They were bred to protect the family, watch over children, and pull carts. :)
And if you're saying that you fought pits, which is what I got out of it, then I hope you suffer like the dogs did.

I have known many dogs with pitbull in them. They have all been great dogs. Very loving and affectionate. We would play with them in the street when we were kids. Back then dogs roamed around the neighbourhoods. Never had a problem with them.

Love it! I have a pit bull also and if people had any idea what their attitudes are like with responsible owners that don't use them in the wrong ways, we wouldn't have all the issues with being able to own them. My miniature dachshund, pitbull, and dobermann all play together just fine. The pitbull and dobermann play a little more rough together and know enough that they can't be that rough with the dachshund ...lol! great video

Some dogs are more irritable than others, just as some are less active. But you are an IDIOT through and through if you think that pit bulls can't be placed in normal environments like any other dog. Dog Aggression however is EXTREMELY common in this breed, ALL Pit Bulls come from fighting lines, Dog Aggression is bred into them, both bulldogs and terriers are very animal aggressive.

APBT's are not taught to fight, they do and will fight on there own free will, THEY love to fight, it's there instincts. It's no different than a Jack Russell Terrier enjoying killing small game, a border collie hearding, a beagle tracking game, a mastiff guarding. You can't train/sociolize out 150 years of selective breeding for dog fighting.

I did dog rescue, and I rescued pits. I had dogs attack other dogs when I did rescue. Not ONE of my pit bulls EVER started a fight, and IF they were involved, they NEVER fought back.
American Pit Bull Terriers were bred for being all around family/farm dogs. They were bred to protect the family, watch over children, and pull carts. :)
And if you're saying that you fought pits, which is what I got out of it, then I hope you suffer like the dogs did.

I have a american bull dog staffordshire terrior mix... She is terrified of a 4 week old kitten. She gets beat up by my mini poodle and she cuddles and child near by... the only "attack" she knows is givin kisses.
