  • did she go down on him at the end?

  • Wow, title sequences were long in those days.

  • it's a porn flick lol

  • Want to see real enlightenment techniques?Want to really wake up from the lies?Unlock your true spiritual and psychic potential.Enter THE-HIDDEN-SPIRITdotCOM and finally get what you've been looking for.

  • On a lighter note, what a grim way to end the intro, with the main characters about to be crushed by an ekevator. XD

  • Not available on Netflix canada. and raredvdwordwide is no longer active.

I guess you did post this 5 years ago now.. hahah. that's even before I was watching youtube (i had dialup then)

This was a made for TV movie, so no official soundtrack was released. I thought it was 1969, but this was from 1973. I love that they are abusing a Ford Econoline, or is it a Chevy cargo van? hahah

  • Was that soundtrack released? I have never seen it on wax..

ANd Jewel Blanch..cutie!! She even released some music. Thanks for the clip.

  • This is really the greatest guy in this stupid world!!!

  • Love the theme tune. Groovy baby. Yeah.

  • 0:30 Nimoy's sigh made me sigh... -3

  • How did Leonard Nimoy get the DisneyLand car off the tracks???

  • Fascinating.

  • Happy 80th Leonard...live long and prosper

  • Vera Miles looks like she's running away from the set at 0:56 !

  • I'd STILL let him have his way with me

  • the music IS awesome!

  • Congratulations, I'm completly baffled O.O

  • Shatner had TJ Hooker, Nimoy had BAFFLED..

  • One of the most funkiest theme songs I've ever heard.

  • Surprising to see so many people saying this looks cheesy, I guess a lot of you never watched Mission: Impossible? This is the beginning sequence of the movie and it definitely doesn't do it justice - this is a classic! It's a shame it wasn't turned into a full-fledged TV show!

  • Ahead, cheese factor 8 !

  • This is bad, but I've been listening to this theme for about an hour now on a loop. This music is drive-a-Trans-Am-with-your-knees-while-duel-wielding-Mac10's awesome.

  • How illogical

  • terrible editing spock you vulcan pointy eared devil have you lost your mind!

  • baffled... yup, that i am.

  • the art director is harry pottle lol

  • Ray Brooks?

    RAY BROOKS?

Welp, looks like this is the best movie ever.

  • Wow, this is cheesy.

  • This trailer has to be fake. It's a physical impossibility for Leonard Neemoy to be baffled.

  • I remember watching this movie on tv one night back in seventy-something when I was a kid -- the story was pretty cheesy, but the theme music -- played both at the start and the end of the movie, was cool, I thought.

  • Dude, this is awesome. So cheesy! I didn't know this existed.

  • thanx for posting!

  • Baffled !! :0

  • Mr Spock in a 3 litre Bentley... that's highly illogical!

  • 0:29 Women driving? highly illogical!

  • But... that's not Spock! =O

  • it's Spock who goes back in time on his spare time and lives an alternative life in the past

  • @shai4ais Actually -- it's one of his ancestors.

  • This has got to be the strangest In Search Of episode ever...

  • Also baffled?

    The viewer.

  • what are the episodes at: 1:46, and 1:49?

  • I saw this movie many times on TV when I was little. I like it.

  • 1:06 do ya think we should change the yellow-on-yellow lettering?

  • @mightykingfish Of course not, that would completely baffle the audience.

  • I'm baffled!!

  • I actually own this on VHS. A "Place's" went out of business and it was dirt cheap. Wasn't that bad of a flick, actually. Not anything oscar worthy, but still entertaining enough. And say what you will, that farking theme song is epic. I've played this posting countless times since I found it. If only it was on a soundtrack.

  • WTF was wrong with Nimoy?? He even has the same hair as Spock! I can practically see his pointy ears and eyebrows! At least give him a mustache.

  • So, so, SO illogical

  • Well, I am a bit discombobulated...

  • CANCELLED!

  • That show didn't have a bloody chance with a title that stupid.

  • Holy crap! Talk about Life on Mars; Spock! Super 70s cop!

  • 0:30 - he's like "Your driving is so illogical, woman!"

  • Mr. Spock meets Richard Petty. How could it not work!

  • lol, I was have expecting him to just sit into a large catapult and be shot into space.

  • Baffled? I am baffled...I never heard of this show before!!

  • how ... baffling!!!

  • this made my day

  • That's some tight intro music... especially the electric organ... very hip.

  • Nice '65 Fleetwood! I can't quite tell. Brougham or Sixty Special? Anyway, it's nice to see it.

  • It's a good thing Star Trek was a big hit, otherwise we would not even know who Leonard Nimoy is/was.

  • I can dig it!

  • Mr Spock, you are being very illogical. I mean look at yourself. The name Kovack does sound Vulcan though!

  • Leonard Nimoy is...baffled! ? Frankly, so am I!

  • make money and prosper ... Also did it look like that guy at 1:34 dove onto that rock?

  • Leonard Nimoy the pimp! haha

Damn back then cars were cars, what we have now with all the plastic is total shit.

  • So lame

  • I'm speechless.

  • You're supposed to be baffled, dammit. Now do it over and try again.

  • Is this theme tune available anywhere?

  • 1:43 Ha ha!!! Spock on acid! xD

  • With theme music by the Incredible Bongo Band!

  • I thought this was a film staring the Lyberian terrorist Omar Kadafi !

  • WTF is "Lyberia"?

  • Wow that car in the first shot was sweet.

At 1:09 that van nearly tipped!

  • Two reasons why this vid is awesome.

    1: Leonard Nimoy.

2: The music is fucking awesome.

  • @Bartman954 and Nimoy was chasing the original a-team van!!!

  • It was like Knight Rider. But without Kit.

  • im assuming this show was a great success and went on to win many awards

  • Nope, only the pilot ep got made and failed to be picked up by any networks.

  • My favorite thing about the 80's: they made the 70's STOP!

  • SNAP!

  • _____Trouble is, the people who lived the first decade of their adulthood in the 1970s are still stuck in the 1960s. For those who doubt this, take a gander at how much Beatles stuff is still marketed like mad. Woodstock-Woodstock, will the Baby Boomers EVER shut up about it? On top of that, the average age of U.S. Senators in Congress is 60--the OLDEST collection of senators in U.S. history, and they ALL have their mental calenders stuck at 1969. Stop the '70s? STOP THE BOOMERS!

  • What redeeming qualities are today's kids going to latch onto?

  • @metalpsalm do u hear that 70s fucnk music ... man it bad!

  • @metalpsalm Yeah, but only by the mid 80s.

  • @metalpsalm That's an interesting story, but it makes absolutely no sense. You do know that?

  • @metalpsalm The 80's were highly conservative, and brought mullets and shoulder pads to the fore.

That's why they stopped the 70's? Shitty replacement.

  • I can see why it's called Baffled. It's Leonard Nimoy with an all woman cast. he he

  • Am I losing my mind or what? ... Didn't this SAME youtoobe page used to have a completely different clip? As in, a trailer with narration and so on? Help.

  • You are losing your mind. Sorry.

  • @lethalforcethemovie nooo i remember that asweeeellll

  • No... it's

    "Leonard Nimoy is..... SEXY!"

  • How do I get a hold of this soundtrack?

  • Comment removed

  • I wonder where Jewel Blaunch is now?

  • As much as I love Leonard (and I truly do!) I think he looks and runs like a drunkard in this movie.

Not that there's anything wrong with that... I do it all the time.

  • FYI: Nimoy was a raging alcoholic for much of his life.

  • No, Nimoy turned to the bottle when he suffered from typecasting during and after Star Trek.

  • I may be mis-remembering this, but in Shatner's last book he recounts how Nimoy confessed to getting liquored up even during the original series because of a failing marriage (only after work though), but I could be wrong. Shatner's first marriage was also self-destructing around that time and I could be confabulating events..

  • I think it's a bit from coloum a and a bit from coloum b. In the Remastered Series, Leonard recounts his times of needing a drink everytime he went home or just after Star Trek wrapped up filming for the day because of the pressures (he was also a heavy smoker too) of filming and his marrige. He even drank heavily after The Original Series and his seperation to cope with the typecasting of being Spock.

  • 1:43 - 1:47 look like he had a couple during that take. XD

  • Kick-ass music!

  • This is Great! Let's see some episodes!

  • Live long an prosper! :)

  • Leonard Nimoy in great new bio (All About Jeffrey Hunter) at amazon! Bio by Michelle Bernier!

  • That was a trip

  • Oh, goodness....ha ha ha ha...

  • ABSOLUTELY BLOODY EPIC! HAHAHAHA! The slow-mow freeze running at 0:39 is genius! Classic 70's! I wish I could zoom in on his face on that clip! Lol!

  • at 1:43 his face looks like an engaged Spock

  • ahaha he is still sexy, even then with the haircut! :)

  • ahhh the 70s...what was special about this decade again?...oh righ it was "special"

  • This show looked pretty groovy.

  • Fascinating. But most illogical.

  • ahahah. live long, funny comrade

  • Fascinating. But most illogical.

  • Nice theme. I never saw that T.V. Show!

  • It was just a pilot.

  • That theme tune!! freakin awesome!!..........."he runs like a drunk trying to catch the off licence before it closes...."..funniest comment for ages!!

  • lol he does lol

  • Greatest TV theme of our times.

  • This film is simply Donkeys Cock of the highest order.

  • Hmm he near craps himself in the car with that woman driver....he runs like a drunk trying to catch the off licence before it closes....looks punch drunk with those fists...hes stuck on the top of a lift....I think being BAFFLED is the least of his worries!!!

  • Leonard Nimoy i love you your amazing

  • i found This shOw on an inteResting coRner of thE iNternet Today. Not a snooZer, the Dynamic nimOy showed his Talent. great Chemistry with him and hampshire, they made a lOvely teaM.

  • So what has to be worse....

William Shatner in Impulse or Leonard Nimoy in Baffled?

  • 0:40 - 0:43

    EPIC.

  • i wish i could give 30 thumbs up, that is hilarious

  • 0:40 - 0:43

    EPIC.

  • After watching this, I'm "baffled" too!

HAHA! But I still love you, Nimoy!!!

Now, I'm off to watch "The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins" again . . .

  • was this before or after star trek?

  • HES SO PIMP!!

  • lol

0:30 his look is so 70s tv shows

  • I just love this music, I can't stop playing this clip over and over again, just for the tune. Who composed it, where can I get a proper recording?

  • well, i suppose standards have improved a bit since then...at least the music is kinda cool :)

  • ...what the barking farts is this..???

  • Most shows in the 70's were like this.

    SPOOOOOCK!!!!!

  • I've seen it and was entertained by it. I think the title was not appealing.

  • why did it fail to be on tv?

  • I'm baffled how bad this show seems to be. don't get me wrong i'm sure i'd laugh my head off watching this. this was supposed to be a super power crime mystery show?

  • it was a movie

  • I watched the movie/episode and I think it was a great idea... it is similar to a show on right now-- can't think of the name of it though... anyways I think it would have made a great show, too bad..):

  • i prolly would of watched this show too XD Nimoy = Greatness! and i Agree with Morgan9123 and MrSpooty

  • If this had made it to series it probably would have been my favorite new show!!!!

    I love Leonard Nimoy!

  • The slow motion running was my favorite part.

  • YES IT WAS. >D

  • spock!!!!

  • I would totally watch this!

  • Leonard Nimoy is SO sexy.

  • God, he IS.

  • He really shows off great sex appeal in this show. Pity the pilot didn't take off; it could have been interesting. He seems really relaxed & in his element on this show.

  • I know! :D

  • Ya know...you almost feel sorry for the guy. On the one hand, he will forever be Mr. Spock, atho I have seen him in other things and he was good. BUT, Mr Spock has made him a MORE than comfortable living, so I guess he's made his piece. I think he realized that it's not everyone who can 'get stuck' with a character that millions of people have loved, analyzed and watched. Is Star Trek in the Smithsonian?

  • You'd need the patience of Job just to get through the credit sequence.

  • why are his ears not pointed, did he have a operation?

  • ...please tell me you are joking with that comment...

There's a difference between character and the actor...

  • Your and idiot

  • The only show he could ever do is maybe a spin off from star trek set on the planet Vulkan "sorry my star trek info is shit" im sure he would have been fine at that.

  • Man, that poor bastard is going to look like an alien no matter what tv show he tries to get on.

  • why does he drive Chitty Chitty Bang Bang?

  • Around 0:30 Nimoy looks like he's thinking, "How the hell did I get suckered into this?"

  • Around 0:30 Nimoy looks like he's thinking, "How the hell did I get suckered into this?"

  • That's one awesome car he's driving.

  • Holy shit this is hilarious. What year was this???

  • anything to make a buck..

  • Blu Ray box set please.

  • It can't be too bad with Harry Pottle in the credits.

  • Gotta say: Now I'M a little baffled, too

  • I think this would have made a great show.

Why is it that theme tunes back then were so good. It can't just be nostalgia.

  • I blame MTV for theme tunes sucking today—back then you had to have mastered more skills before becoming a film or TV composer, IMO.

  • Who is the director? Make sure to tune in next episode and find out!

  • The last credit is "Produced and Directed by Philip Leacock". Sorry, hombre.

  • I think Nimoy is awesome at 0:30. HIs hair is totally hot.

  • God bless the 1970s.

  • ... the decade that used up our quota of awesome for the next thirty years.

  • Ah, the days of 2 minute show intros. These days you get a three-chord sting and 1:55 of extra commercials. :)

  • I agree on that, I'm always wondering what happened to the intro when I watch today's shows.

  • ha ha ha ha, thanks for sharing this!!

  • Anyway to get the song?

  • Making a rip from the movie probably. This is a generation or two away from broadcast but you can find the whole shebang on Netflix Instant Play.

  • Classic example of 70's Vulcan-ploitaion
