we must abolish prisons. it is too medieval. only time it should be prison is for minor crimes and upon waiting for a remote isolation place for whatever amount of time. however, theft should not be criminal as long as the reason was for humanitarian reasons.

I am excited to see this video and am excited about the work that Critical Resistance is doing. Ive had a lot of family members affected by prisons and feel that this movement work is extremely important!

The guy who wrote the above comment got locked up when we were really young, and inspired me to get involved in this work. He may not agree with it, but some of the people who love him clearly see the harm that comes from people you love being put in cages. Critical Resistance is an amazing organization, and this conference is going to be a historically important event. Please come out and support it!

This is an amazing video. I'm so happy to see that work is being done on this topic. A lot of people where I'm from have been affected by prison so the work critical resistance is doing sounds important. Sign me up!

What a bunch of crap! Take some personal responsibility for getting locked up, no body said life was easy. They don't won't prison so they can go on doing whatever they want, NO! We need boundary's in life and if you cross them you should be punished just like your Dad is suppose to do. I did 7 years, Donovan then Chuckys then paroled from K.V.S.P. I've been out 11 months, got a job, bust my ass, follow the law.
