Or look on craigslist, if your careful you can get a kwa for 200. If its your only only only option get a lower end gun. But seriously convince your parents to get one great awsome gun, then a what ever gun and end up spending more money on repairs, or a better one later, trust me!

@GaAjPwNz If your looking for a M4 under $250 allot of high end airsoft companies sell them for under that price but Echo 1 is kinda in the middle of everyone. They rebrand products form nameless Chinese companies but they make them much better (internally of corse) hope this helped.

i heard that you can actually remove the fire selector on both sides and interchange them, so that left handed shooters will also have the benefit of a right handed shooter. As you can see, there's a hex screw right on the middle of the selector, so that you can remove it, and interchange it with the other side.

@clonestr whats the points of upgrading the stock? the RDW/PDW is meant to have the folding stock. the only thing i think you can upgrade is the spring and the motor.

be careful when you take the upper reciever and the lower recieve apart, i screwed my battery wires up .

The gun is great, but you should be warned that all of the hi-caps(JG/Echo 1 and G&G specifically) did not sit particularly well. However, G&G mid-cap mags fit flawlessly.

we, have the dboys clone of the vfc pdw and modded the front assembly to fit a TU lipoly 15c chicklet type. we used a micro deans plug though the plug remained outside so we could charge it without having to remove the lipoly since it is to tiresome and very very annoying... =P

the only problem i had with this gun the stock. Its hindge is held by screw or type of rod and somtimes it come out place allowing the stock to wobble

@pivotchampion it is made for cqb and can shoot up to 100 feet with pretty good accuracy but 150 feet is hard for full size m4's to shoot at so probably not all the way up to 150 feet. I would expect from this gun 100 or 120 feet at the MOST.
