Stewarts debut was in 2004, he made the Aus squad in 07.
Minichiellos debut was in 2000 and his aus debut was in 2004.
Matt Bowens debut was in 2001 and he hasnt played in the Aus jersy yet, neither has slater.
Hunt is a god young player, but you cant always garuntee a great performance.

that said, he is a young player and that experience has guided him to the player he is today, but look amonst most fullback and u will see in comparison he is not as strong under the high ball,
he will get better and will be australias next number 1, unless they go about politics picking karmichael hunt

I rememba when Hunt against Souths or Easts(cant quite remember) dropped the ball cold when the defense was at least 10 mtres from him, & Bowen when Orford put a bomb up and menzies was at least 5-10 mtres from him and droped it cold, and In the grand Final, Inglis put a massive Torpedo Bomb up and Stewart ended up catching it when both Slater & Crocker were about 1/2 a metre from him.

I think you betta watch some footy instead of assuming. Cos if you have been watching him over the last few years and you think hes not safe under the high ball your seriously, spastically, mentally retarded.

oi, im not saying he is bad under the high ball, u said he was the safest under the high ball,
if u claim that these 'stats' are correct, do u remember v brisbane in 06, hmmm rite before S00, he got chopped taht game, so dont try and pull a stunt like that, dropped the majority of balls given to him,

But mate he is, 06/07 Brett Stewart errors=0,Hunt, Bowen, Slater have dopped alot.And yes he is the safest under the high ball, it might look like Hunt, Slater and those guys are better but it just looks like they are because they are always running for it and end up making a great catch or barely just dropping it,but when the kicks come to stewart he is pretty much standing on the spot because he is so well positioned. I kno it doesnt look that way but I watch all the games a million times.

Well put it this way, he has proved himself in 07 as the safest fullback, he has great positional play, and has proved himself at being the safest under the high ball in 07
