He is also making sure that he does not drag the handle from the top, but rather keep his arc wide coming down, in order to shallow out his angle of attack.
Donald farted on DJ. Look how DJ clears the area right after Donald directs gas at him, then DJ goes to the other guy and is like "that little dude just farted on my range spot."
i might have to try this when i go to the range next time. i wish it was normal speed though so i could get a better understanding of his drill, but i think i somewhat get it.
awesome swing though. such a smooth tempo that i wish i could emulate but i find it difficult to finish the way he does. i guess everyone has their own swing, right?
he is making sure that he shifts his weight to the left side before fully turning his hips so as to prevent spinning out and using his hands to square the club
seems like luke is trying to stay in his posture. He's one of the few tour pros who tends to stand up (only slightly) when he gets to impact and as a result his back foot seems to come off the ground earlier than most professionals...but honestly his swing is sick no matter what
I think you have it right. He is trying to keep his hips stable and allow his arms to stay in front of him, and as you suggested keep his orientation to the ground constant. I think his tendency for early extention and the inevitale below plane issues is why his driver gives him fits. He is a great contrast to the bomb and gauge brigade.
