texhnolyze is very similar in a much more grueling and evil way compared to serial experiments lain. i also aboslutely LOVE the soundtrack to texhnolyze! if you like humor i would highly suggest the melancholy of haruhi suzymia but it also has a very very deep thought provoking story and sci-fi plot that boggles the mind dont be fooled by how shallow haruhi seems, it has a deep story, just trust me. Ergo proxy, noein, darker than black (love this one) and samurai champloo are also excellent.

I love the atmosphere of this music and even more anime.

I like intelligent animes that have "psychological demons" and philosophical questions.

"Boogiepop Phantom", "Neon Genesis Evangelion" and "Serial Experiments: Lain" are the best animes, ever.
