this guy is pretty tight, nice old school juggling, but just because it's on real vinyl doesn't make it any more difficult than using timecode vinyl. Serato/traktor you juggle in absolute mode, which is the same as a real record, it still skips. Neither will sync stuff for you when using timecode vinyl, you still do it all by ear. Basically you need to try the dvs systems, it's all the same except you get the hot cues and loops and shit, it makes a good dj better, it doesn't make bad dj's good

I've been DJing for 17 years now. Still have over 26 crates of 12". I've been using Serato for about 3 years now. I Have different sets with the REAL 12" and different stuff with the Serato. I like the DJ's who can do BOTH and Not Hate on either one! Now a day's you gotta be able to play on anything!! Like many of the other comments stated, Serato don't give you Skillz, but they are making it Way to easy!!! Imagine what you can do WITH SERATO!!!

Rane does not give you skills, you still have to have skills on the tables to be a good dj, the software just makes it easier to do your job. i love the fact that i can carry over a 5000 songs and not have a million and one crates to tug around. rane has made great djs better, just becus of the things you can do in a short amount of time. old school dj are old school becus they are old and out dated.
