I don't get why everyone's saying "emo this emo that." Just to clear up confusion, emo is short for emotional and is supposed to just be a music genre, short for emotional hardcore. Now it's a label that's thrown around. At most, an "emo" person is someone emotional/sensitive, not some dressed in black kid who cuts themselves or bitches 24/7.
