It's funny, CryENGINE, which calculates everything dynamically both looks better and runs better than UDK, which even precomputes and compiles a lot of things. I love Crytek.

@quangluu96 Better graphics hell YEAH. Worse sound and the godrays piss me off they're not realistic. Sun rays that cuts through windows and shine on dust, sure but no these godrays. Battlefield 3 destruction owns cryengines and battlefield owns crysis in gameplay.

@Earyn1 Dude Im giving a just opion and choosing the best features on both sides, Does crysis 1 and 2 do a million times better on foliage and lighting, yes, is battlefield have a way better multiplayer (thats all its worth) yes, is the crysis campaign better yes. I mean seriously, neither have actual realistic faces (no games do) And I think some things are better. Overall is battlefield a better game, hands down (imo), does cryengine have way more map making stuff and better graphics hell yeah

Damn i really hope indie developers are going to be using this engine to make some really interesting stuff. So much is possible.

There are only two things this engine could do better. 1. The Audio take a look at the FB2 engine from BF3. 2. Animations.

It's very funny to see, that 80% of the sample code is beeing taken from Crysis 1, 10% from Crysis 2 and another 10% is new.
