Try checking out a musician named Will Oldham.. I think you would be pleasantly surprised! He is one of my fave musicians, and then I stumbled across this band, and noticed the similarity.
I tried to make it look as though you're looking through a window, like you're looking into someone else's world in a way that works with the song's slightly off-kitler melody, it would have worked better if not for that irritable grey border!
I thought you did the irritagble grey border! well that def changes things a bit. I like it much more. Dont get me wrong..I think this is a good video. 6/10 might be insulting to some...that isnt so bad coming from me (not that u care). I take a brutal (no holding back..honesty!) approach to critiquing peoples work. That is how I like people to be with me. Hope your not insulted.
it is eery, or perhaps just images that call for our attention, but i have myself, video footage of these same type b/w driving scenes, the misty foggy woods, the criss cross plane cloud trails in the sky, and no joke, the feather caught in a web under the electrical wires...probably all on the same video tape no less!!! Crazy!...yes, video...a little old now. Obviously i would love this video too...thank you of course for the gorgeous song.
