Haha, I just go this scam call. I stayed on the line with them eventually they send you to a website which tries to download an executable file when you log in. My call ended there because I refused to open the file and called them a bunch of crooks.

Yeah man cops won't do nothing. You should have told them the guy on the phone smacked your old lady and the whole police force would be at your doorstep in 45 seconds with guns drawn...but trace a call ? nope.

Well maybe if they called a cop's family, then they would make that a priority and go above and beyond, use all their resources.

I've been called twice by these jokers. I finally got him to hang up by telling them that we only have Mac computers in our house. :) LOL The first time they called I put them on speaker and put the phone up close to my speakers and let him listen to my movie we were watching.

In the phone book I have initals of different letters, they called me by the billing name on the account, and the only person besides myself that has that info is the telco, and the dsl tech support provided by the telco which is in India (a terror sponsored country). CSR Trisitan sold my information to these scammers, and violated 2 federal laws. APD is worthless. When Leffingwell campaigns I will bring this up.
