Seems by that, that God is not happy at Mankind, wants undived attention and devotion and worship from mankind (like a Dictatorship) but many of Mankind do not place God above alll.
God does not like Mankind building towers that lead to the heavens.
That Verse goes to mention God is Jealous of such things, he created man as flawed so why is only Man to blame?
So we should forget about peace... why hell lets bring about a World War 3, and see many suffering is tha Gods will?
Thats how i see it, so Mankind can not strive for peace, because it would be false peace, and when they reach that it shall be all destroyed and all feel his Wrath.
