lolol its funny how uneducated these arguments are (and how off topic they are). 1. Fender definitely has more quality control problems than ESP. 2. Both ESP and Fender outsource to either Mexico or China and you have to pay way more than you should for one made in the U.S. 3. Your guitars tone is 80 percent based on the electronics. You can make a 200 dollar guitar sound like a 1000 with just 200 bux.

BlueBarrier, while I agree with you on most of your comment, a guitars tone is not 80% based on electronics. The electronics do make a difference, but its more about the player, then the guitar or electronics. You can put a custom shop guitar into a noobs hands and it will sound like shit. However a pro could pick up a squire and make it sound good.

Oh of course but if you put the custom guitar shop guitar in the hands of a pro compared to the squire, which one do you think he prefers? Our definitions of "pro" can vary differently but I am referring to musicians on a public and generic level. My definition of a guitars tone in that specific comment meant the sonic and scientific definition of it, separate from the existence of a player. Still tone without the human element is useless.

dude your fucikn retarded. malmsteen is definitely not the best fender player. SHREDDERS SUCK. rock and Blues guitarists are definitely the best there are, and almost all play fender. Hendrix, Clapton, SRV, Page used a tele, buddy guy, jeff beck, david gilmour, eric johnson, robert cray, muddy waters, ... the list goes on and on... man your retarded

You know its sad that both of you know nothing about music, shredders and melodic players both need skill to play each for example Joe Satriani and Jimi Hendrix one is shredder yet melodic while the other is bluesy and as for guitars its on a matter of sound not which guitars are better hell first act guitars can have a nice sound too (the more expensive ends)so down to all of it its a matter of an opinion

i used to have a killswitch on one of my strats. but it wasnt the push and hold. it was a toggle. but for my dean ml i just turn the neck pickup all the way and when i want to kill it i just flip the 3 way to the neck pick ups. therefore no sound
