Onyx was a "Shield World" that was activated when Delta Halo and the others became armed. With the destruction of The Ark, it's possible that the Halo's are no longer armed and the "Shield Worlds" deactivated, allowing Fred and the others to escape/contact the UNSC for evac.

when I saw the last name Lawliet i thought of death note. The script writing is good its just the voice acting needs to be better but that take some time. All the characters do have some depth to their personality. The inner monologue was good but the effect on the voice was kinda distracting. I didn't see any waste of moments by the characters on screen. I really like the machinma. and I do hope to see more. Please respond as soon as possible.

For example, the only Lieutenant dies, the highest ranking Sergeant takes over. That Sergeant dies, the next highest Sergeant takes over, and so forth.

Only if there is not a sergeant who can fill the slot, but if a PFC is put in charge he should be promoted the CPL/SPC because he is filling an E5 slot.

when I saw the last name Lawliet i thought of death note. The script writing is good its just the voice acting needs to be better but that take some time. All the characters do have some depth to their personality. The inner monologue was good but the effect on the voice was kinda distracting. I didn't see any waste of moments by the characters on screen. I really like the machinma. and I do hope to see more. Please respond as soon as possible.

About that...we had script problems when we did this embarrassing episode. He's suppost to be the leader, not commander, of the squad. I really wish we could have redone this episode...could have been a hell of a lot better.

Halo is really getting old, Gamers need to grasp the fact that there ARE better games than Halo, and they ARE out there, so just get off your lazy Halo playing asses, and go buy a new fucking game. Halo is a classic and people like the online gameplay. and people make machinima there because its the best place to make a machinima. i mean really what other game lets you go to theater mode. record your vids. gives you a place to make a set(forge) and gives you the chance to show recognition for what you did? If you find a game that fits all those standards i swear i will break my Halo cd in half

But Halo 3 isn't a classic. Don't get me wrong it has a edecent campaign and an impressive multiplayer, but it will only be remembered for the machinima it was used to create. Although, I would have to say Halo: CW redefined the modern FPS in many respects and will be remembered for that.

If all superiors are dead, then the highest ranked or most experienced soldier leads the squad.
For example, the only Lieutenant dies, the highest ranking Sergeant takes over. That Sergeant dies, the next highest Sergeant takes over, and so forth.
