  • Inventor Virginia Gardiner confirm that invented Loowatt, very simple to use, as it produces energy from human waste. The principle is simple and relies on the transfer of waste from the toilet tank to the side is isolated. Waste in the tank free of oxygen and thus the microbes in the waste analysis of waste from the process to produce methane and carbon dioxide and other gases. Gas is used for cooking

  • Great woman!!

  • I want more information about how we convert from solids to gas....so far what I can see is simple is the ability to compost human waste back to soil. Using a toilet that separates feces from urine is supposed to eliminate much of the odor. I love the concept and the presentation but want more info..."airheads" seems to be a great option (google them)

    Thanks,

    Dave

  • ... what happens if its solid lmao she showed if it was like..soft but ...eek lmao

  • A very good idea !!!

This must be the path to follow in ecological design.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • I saw similar idea that when u poop u flush it with some kind of sand and then it turns into fertilized dirt the whole process is odorless.

  • virginia is hot :)

  • why dont you just use ocean water?

  • The main concept is reduce the usage of the water which reduces the waste that goes to ocean.

  • Plus, it will be very costly to establish a whole network of salt water plumbing and pipe system.

  • This is absolutely amazing. It's so GREEN!!!

It's a shame that some people won't go that extra mile to help the planet. And that's the only reason we don't have this amazing technology in our homes now.

    Incredible

  • Woah... I wonder how this could affect the environment O.o

  • Most likely... not at all.

  • Great Idea... I hope soon we`ll see it for sale!!!

  • What about urine and toilet paper? You didn't mention these two items.

  • there goes my appetite

  • Ok, I think this is pretty awesome, but maybe is limited the undestanding for people who speaks another language, i dont know what do you think, but maybe it´s better to add some subtitles in the video, i support the idea, and maybe i can help you translating to Spanish, I´m from Mexico.

if you´re interested please let me know :D

    best regards

    Frank

  • I thinks this is pretty awesome, i´d like to translate to spanish and add some subtitles to the video, u think this is possible?

  • This is so cool! What a great trend, embracing the power of your shit! I hope to hear more about this soon

  • Is this actually real????????????????

cause i was laughing through the whole video

  • awesome ideas.....hope i can see it on market one day...

  • I like Obama's idea for a "Green Toilet" better. He flushes money down his regular toilet while he wipes his ass with freshly printed stimulus money.

  • oh YUPPP.

  • Can it make a Hamburger or Hot Dog ?

    :-))

  • the concept of cooking with gas from my own ass. id rather not.

  • One thing that is not mentionned in this video is how PRECIOUS water is. I don't mind how many people don't have a toilet of any kind. I DO mind however how many people don't have acces to clean water, and it does make me feel guilty every time I flush a toilet, so I think this is a great idea. I really hope it gets thru.

  • Hippies... with their poo toilets.

  • yeah

  • But how can it handle my 2 AM Powerdumps?

  • xDDDDDDDD

  • Get a life, woman!

  • how about I use the methan gas to move my car instead?

  • just don't "SCRATCH AND SNIFF" that pooh-toilet!

  • Congrats for your brilliant design, this is why I love engineering. Engineers are truly the "Creators" of the modern world, everything you see around(besides nature) was designed by an mechanical design engineer. Glad to be one of them too :)

  • And also to answer the previous question, toilet paper gets composted along with the waste. Ie: the worms will eat it.

  • Whether it's feasible or not is another story. But this is really a great idea.

  • What about the toilet paper. Do we use our hand then wipe it off on the wall

  • OMG XD

  • she is cute

  • brilliant

  • awesome!
