Basically, the mantra exxalts the virtue of this Buddha, which says that it purifies all sins.

sarva papam means all sins,

shodhani - feminine form of shodhana

vishuddhe - puriifies

this mantra from the vuddhist canon - mystic version.

Sogyal rinpoche in his book called The Art of Living and Dying speaks of

a primoridal mind, pure and non- tainted.

I think Vairocana Buddha best represents this mind.

This CD is issued by a Malaysia company and is available in Hong Kong for about 8 us dollars.

@pakwanlau True! That is why in either the Tibetan Book of the Dead or Tibetan Book of Living and Dying(I forgot which.... XP) when a person first dies, a very bright light would shine down on them. This is the light of wisdom that represents the Truth of mindful consciousness. We should learn to accept that this formless Truth is really part of us. 8D
