The Americans who hate China should actually be upset with their government and corporations who opened the door to unregulated trade in order to make money.

All Chinese people are doing is going to work every day in shitty conditions while American corporations try to keep them from gaining rights as it would hurt their profit margin. I started hating China only after having lived there for 2.5 years. I wasted a lot of money studying Chinese at an ivy and at two of China's top universities. Some of China's history and art is fascinating, and for the most part, my one-on-one conversations with Chinese people have been pleasant (but redundant). Chinese society, however, is completely bonkers and fosters an unreasonable cult mentality.

@fredwon360 - A fiat currency that is floated in a global market will only be worth what it can be traded for. China keeps its currency pegged to the dollar by buying dollars. China knows that those dollars aren't worth what it's paying for them but it still buys them to keep the value of the dollar high. Seeing as China has been doing this for well over a decade it will pay severely when the correction comes.

Let me explain what the video is about. In recent years, Chinese government has been forcefully moving residents out of their homes in order to take over their land for new building projects. Residents who don't comply usually are dealt with swiftly and brutally. Local gangs are usually sent in to take care of the situation. There are lots more human rights violations occurring daily in China which U.S. public is not even aware of. Seriously, not exaggerating here.
