People that grew up in this era are lucky, you had lives. Back in the day, before computers & before everyone had cable, satelite TV (whatever), you could get people out of the house to do fun stuff, MEMORABLE stuff. Now, I can't get anyone out. Can't pull them away from the TV, video games, computers, texting, etc. Technology is blocking people from having lives. When they're old, they'll have nothing to remember or look back to b/c all they do is sit & tech out.

@sumuthaguy So true, families had yards because we went out and play in them and many of front porches were our stages for singing and generally goofing off...can't remember the folks locking the house either as naive as that sounds.
