  • Song just gets better with age. What a great sound.

  • She was well before the runaways, who also struggled. I remember when she showed up on "Happy days"

  • Akkor is szerettük, amikor még nem tudtuk, hogy olasz (apa) és magyar(anya) gyermeke Detroitból. A zenéje dinamikus volt és friss, ami azonnal megfogott!

  • @bizalom77 She must have gotten her dynamic voice from her father and her beauty from her mother? She really is dynamic. :) She looks and sounds so innocent as compared to today.

  • fucking shit!

  • Why i cant be from the 70s , i have to be from this shitty 2011 ?

    Tell me why

  • We're not stupid Suzi's keyboardist. We can still hear the piano. And you're clearly not playing it. And....

    OH FOR FUCK SAKE DRUMMER.

  • suzi rocks !

  • Got my tickets to see her on 2 October in Bendigo! :D

    Cant wait!!!

  • @SillyBoy213 saw her in Perth tonight..great show..her new stuffs really good too..it was great to hear her sing something softer.

  • I know Suzi's small but that bass is way too big for her lol

  • Take that, JLS, and even Diversity would be jealous of this dance routine !!

  • I am inspired by women of rock, as a gay man who loves rock music and who constantly gets asked what showtunes i like the best I understand the struggle they faced to be heard in what was considered a macho man genre, I know there have been successful gay men in rock but they had to keep it quiet for a long time women like her revelled in their femininity and proved they could be tough like men in the world of rock! i want to do the same as that as a gay man and prives gays can rock !!!

  • @gadfageyar

    cool!

  • @gadfageyar Stereotypes can be really stupid.

  • @gadfageyar You probably already know, but Rob Halford from Judas Priest is gay as well as Gaahl from black metal band Gorgoroth

  • Gotta live the surround sound at the start.

  • I heard she got the name Suzie Quattro because she took care of four guys at the same time if you know what I mean.

  • @SquishedButterfly she suffered with a certain std for years during the 70's

  • @SquishedButterfly iThink She Only Shortened Her Last Name (Quatrocchio) To Quatro Nd Suzi Bkus Her Name Is Susan(:

  • @DanisRendon70

I was going to say, damn wikipedia. a man can't start a slacious rumour... but then I read it, and found Suzie was in an all female band called Fanny. It's not often you laugh milk out your nose at 10 past 8 in a morning.

  • @SquishedButterfly Yeah, Didnt She Start That Band With Her Sisters?

  • Comment removed

  • I just fell offa my perch AGAIN! ;)

  • Hey Suzi Q, Voglio fare sesso con te

  • Ok people somewhat tough debate. Who is better looking? Joan Jett or Suzi Q.

  • @Avatar230594 No contest....it has to be Suzi, I had a serious crush on her in my teenage years and she is still as sexy now as she was way back then

  • How tiny is this woman?3 foot nothing? The Fender bass looks bigger than she is.

  • Suzie is a pure delight to watch and listen to. An outstanding talent.. this video is a sheer pleasure. I don't see how anyone could not enjoy it. Thanks Suzi and thanks for posting!

  • Did she really date gary glitter in the 90's or where they just good friends ?

  • @leaderskeeper doubt buddy ; O

  • @leaderskeeper it was just a rumour.. she was married to the guitar player here, and she was dating her now husband at the time of that rumour going around

  • This is better than anything from 2011!!

  • @dakert40 aye but thats not hard :)

  • @dakert40 i saw her this year, shes was awesome!!

  • This is from totp it's not the original video nearly as good though!

  • oh how i wish to be back in the 70s what a fantastic time i had. as they say "those were the days" god they certainly were!!!

  • awesome..still remember this :)

  • I honestly wish I was a teenager back in the 70s. I love suzi and her music. Whenever I tell one of my friends I'm listening to her they don't even know what the heck I'm talking about. No one understands me and my love for oldies.

  • this song gives me a huge boner. havin a good shag with suzie is my idea of a good time.

  • God bless her. The guitar is a big as she is.

  • ,bet LIETUVA YRA >>>ar taip?

  • oh my cripes. if it is at all possible to take one's eyes off of Suzi Quatro for a moment, please bask in the glory of the full band dance routine during this song.....specifically the keyboard player....kick. ass. Love this song SO MUCH.

  • Great stuff - brings back great memories!!! her bass guitar is nearly bigger than her !!!

  • random fact, she is a grandma now and is the sexiest Grandma, she can still shake her ass

  • Had a serious crush for her :)

  • omg...i loved the seventies..the music, teenage years...personaly almost everything about the seventies for myself was good, well with the exception of high school...lol

wish we could all go back to the seventies and the normal feelings that the 70s are associated with realy..niceeeeee

  • i loved this track classic

  • it come from goggle

  • I remember her doing this on one episode of Happy Days. Yes, this another song I listened to when I was 12.

Suzi was before Joan Jett, before Blondie...one of the original hard rockers (of the female gender).

  • i was born in the 60,s and i miss the 70,s..i can remember going down to the local garage to play the jukebox and playing these classics..man i wish i had a delorean

  • one for the road

  • I have LOVED this song by her ever since she did it on "Happy Days"!!!!!!!!!! I didn't know that she did this one on a video!!!!!!!!!! LOVE IT!!

  • Love the way those long-haired guys are so long-haired you can't even see who they are... lol... and the way the drums play themselves at the beginning until the drummer gets round to it. :-) Great vid from a time when nobody cared about stuff like that cos they were too busy having fun!

  • @poglad but dont you think playback sucks?

  • @DasTjo Yes, but this was the original promo video, not a proper live performance. And on the BBC in those days, when they sang live they often were forced to perform with the "BBC Top of the Pops Orchestra", which sucked even more!!! :-)

  • @DasTjo A big difference between playback like this and today's playback: in the 70's they (Suzi Q, Sweet, Slade, Mud etc) made a show of it; it's was very obviously playbacked; today they do it sneeky, like they play live.

  • "Young-uns"?? Only slightly offended by that comment.. I'm seventeen so probably will still fall under that category, and i absolutely love this music. Katy Perry and Lady Gaga are good, yes, but i feel that they (more so for Lady Gaga than Katy Perry) feel the need to overcompensate for their music via weird and wonderful outfits and music videos, whilst not actually concentrating that much on the music itself. It's a shame that songs like this are rare these days..

  • roy west

  • Love this. As an aside, I don't know why my old ass peers feel the need to insult wildly successful and talented artists like Lady Gaga (yes blue hairs, she is a talented and formerly educated musician. Deal with it). It reminds me of my dad in the early 70's telling me how Chuck Berry was a better guitarist then Jimmy Page and Jerry Lee Lewis had more talent than Elton John. Okay dad.

He was full of it and so are we.

"The older I get the better I was"

  • ... : I

Noi avevamo i cantautori, i gruppi progressive, e perchè no i grandi e immensi Pooh all'epoca definiti da qualche imbecille "commerciali" ....Blah!

  • F'n AWESOME >>> LOVE IT!!!

  • this is pure rock she still does it for me

  • That keyboard player is amazing! hes not even at the keyboard and dancing around and still managing to play! LOL

  • i jak nie kochać szalonych naszych lat70 jak śpiewa suzi

  • when the keyboard player dies he can get buried in a drain pipe lol

  • one of the first albums I ever bought,,,sigh...

  • Thats cool, only just heard about her because she is cutting the ribbon to the Graceland they are opening in Denmark. Thanks for posting, over a million views she must be popular.

If I was to hear this on the radio with no introduction, I swear I would think I was listening to Slade, lol.

  • its impossible to learn to have voice like this

    Talent is Talent!!

and how's Gaga would try, she wont be a talent xD

  • Aint she just great

  • Yeah, but can she cook? LOL. This woman introduced me to ROCK and I love her. This song is a classic.

  • Is it true the rest of the band were Red Indians?

  • Takes me back into early childhood listening to all my nans CDs if it wasnt for that I'd be listening to some rap or somery shit like that

    Btw I'm 13 14 in may

  • the blokes look really awkward dancing, particularly the buffoon in yellow. and what have they got on their feet, horrible .

  • @MrLawman10 Hey, let's be kind to the awesome white space boots, but I agree, guy in yellow is a total creeper.

  • @UAINTFUNEisBACK What was she like?

  • @wildwomenneverdie Actually, i was a baby...But her brother Mike was my dads manager and my mom n dad always liked the Quatro family.

  • same ... 1 lady of ROCK and aliways will be xox

  • OMG this takes me right back to my childhood.

  • i have not luck woman im loser im not exist!!

  • This is my earliest music memory.I was 3 1/2 or 4 years old when this came out .I blame Suzie for my love of rock and heavy metal music. Gotta love her !!

  • Why is it whenever I watch a video of an old artist, someone has to ruthlessly bash new ones? Can't you just appreciate what you like and leave others alone? How is Lady Gaga relevant here at all?

Aside from that, I'd love to be like Suzi. She's one female musician I really do admire!

  • Piano player dude is such a creeper.

  • Suzi!

  • this is real music.

  • SHE WAS THE COOLEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
